Minoli Secure Exciting New Core Essential Ranges for 2012
The Minoli team have been in Spain this week sourcing exciting new ranges to add to the Minoli Core Essentials Collections. Visiting key suppliers in Spain is a crucial part of our work, ensuring that we secure the very latest designs for our clients, that fit within the criteria for our core essentials collection.
Exciting new ranges such as “Stone Studio” and “Onix” will be with us in the next month or so.

Evolution Not Revolution – New Brushed Cement Tile
Evolve Concrete
The new Minoli Evolution Evolve ranges is now due to be with us in stock at the end of this month. Evolve is a modern masterpiece of tile design, evoking the effect of brushed concrete, with an extra ordinary richness of surface texture. The colour pallet of soft and strong tones are used across the three surface finishes, Matt, Lappatto and Structured.
The structured finish, although suitable for commercial installation is a design statement, with its highly unusual structured finish, again available in the complete colour pallet.

The Evolution in this new range is 75 x 75 a true evolution from 60 x 60, but not revolution. The size shows the cement brushed effect to its full potential and is ideal for the new living spaces being created by designers and developers, with Kitchen, Dining and Living spaces all tiled and used as one big open space.
The Evolution Evolve is now on display in the new Minoli corporate clients showroom and is available to see as samples, and within the Home House presentation brochure. The full launch will be throughout March and April.

“Stockholm Syndrome at Minoli”
Well not exactly Stockholm Syndrome, which is “ an apparently paradoxical psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and positive feelings towards captors” …. But a new Range Stockholm of Italian porcelain tiles, due to be available from stock later this month as soon as initial production is completed.
Stockholm, Lysgrau
Stockholm is a very modern range featuring porcelain tiles in sizes 45 x 90, 60 x 60 and 30 x 60 together with decorative mosaic tile “ Spaccatella”.
Colours within the range include Lysgrau a light stone grey, Grau a darker grey, slate like in appearance but with a modern architectural finish and Mandel a light limestone effect, bright and minimal.
The Stockholm range by Minoli has all of the relevant Eco labels.
Stockholm will be available towards the end of February, samples and displays are already able to be viewed in the Minoli corporate showroom.

Warehouse preparations prove well placed
During the summer of 2011, Chris and Douglas the warehouse and transport managers at Minoli, invested in snow clearing and ice prevention equipment for the Minoli distribution center and the fleet of vehicles. With the weather having become arctic over the last week it looks as though the preparations were put in place in good time.. last week temperatures in the Oxford area ( RAF Benson) dropped below minus 11 C and ice was a problem, especially in the mornings. The Minoli team ensured the vehicles were prepared for the cold and the roadways and yard were thoroughly salted.
With the forecast of snow for Saturday night, the team prepared the yard with grit and salt, to ensure the delivery fleet would be able to get on to the main roads this morning and get the 100 plus deliveries out to our clients.
Each driver was issued with a special snow spade and stock of salt and grit, just in case they find more snow during the days to come.

Spain 2012
Saturday 21st January 2012 saw the celebration in Valencia Spain of the 50th Birthday of Luis Pla. Luis, former commercial director of world leading tile showroom manufacturer Carmalasa celebrated his birthday with over 100 close friends in the exclusive Bamboo night club. With many of the leading lights in the Spanish tile industry present together with childhood friends and family, it was a night to remember. Carmalasa have built showrooms for Minoli for over 25 years, with the latest one completed in June 2010 – the corporate clients showroom. Luis has now retired from Carmalasa and is perusing his other interests such as travel and motorcycles. Minoli were represented by Jonathon Minoli.
