The first of four additions to the Minoli fleet

We are delighted to see the latest addition to the Minoli fleet ready to hit the road, in its brand-new livery highlighting the significance of this particular vehicle.
First commissioned in 2020, the pandemic, high demand and pressure on supply lines has impacted the delivery and build schedule, but the end result has been well worth the wait.
This milestone vehicle, purpose-built for Minoli, was the 500,000th truck to be produced by DAF, the renowned Lancashire-based manufacturer.

Originally handed over at a ceremony on the Leyland DAF production line, back in November 2021, this latest addition to the Minoli fleet is a state-of-the-art 16-tonne GVW DAF LF, which has been specified with a 210bhp PACCAR PX-5 engine, ZF AS-Tronic six-speed gearbox, rear air suspension, adjustable roof spoiler and cab collars.
Since leaving the factory, this new DAF LF 210 has been to specialist truck body builders, Wessex Vehicle Services, who construct and fit the rear cargo boxes, specifically designed to meet Minoli’s exacting requirements. On this particular vehicle, for example, in addition to the already high levels of Minoli specification, additional lighting has been added to fully illuminate the cargo bay and tailgate platform, to enhance both safety and usability for Minoli’s delivery team.
Thereafter, the process of final commissioning was conducted by supplying DAF dealership HTC, prior to the vehicle then heading to Oxfordshire-based sign writer, Dan Haines Signs, to be adorned with its new livery.
The new branding includes high resolution images of the Minoli Wanderlust Agata Blue porcelain tiles and a commemorative logo on the cab doors marking the provenance of this as the 500,000th vehicle from Leyland DAF’s Lancashire assembly plant.

In a relationship that spans several decades, Minoli has chosen HTC Group and DAF to meet its requirements for reliable, robust vehicles that have been purpose-built to the company’s exacting and often changing needs.
Increased demand for Minoli’s products, a drive for greater efficiency and a concerted effort to reduce emissions has required an ongoing cycle of investment in expanding the Minoli fleet and upgrading their trucks. One of four chassis in pipeline, with these latest additions, Minoli will be running 12 DAF trucks and a further eight supporting vehicles, giving a daily delivery capacity of well over 100,000KGs.
Thanks to all the teams at HTC, DAF Trucks, Wessex Vehicle Services and Dan Haines Signs for their support in helping Minoli reliably deliver in style to all our customers and resellers across the South, Southeast, London and Home Counties.
