Where can I find the prices for the tiles in which I’m interested?

We publish a digital price list for all of our different types of clients such as private individuals, corporate, professional tradespeople or wholesale and distribution partners.

Most of our product lines are priced by the piece or individual item and others by a set area with prices then provided as a nominal cost per square metre.

We regularly review and benchmark our prices to offer the best value we can to our customers, no matter whether embarking on an individual project or specifying tiles for a commercial property or housing development.

To request our price list, please contact the relevant department below and we’ll e-mail you a copy by return.

When should I expect delivery of my tiles?

We aim to keep the vast majority of our most popular ranges in plentiful stock at our central distribution centre. Across our portfolio of approaching 500 tile ranges, comprising some 3,000 individual product lines, we hold approximately 75% of these as ‘stock items’ which are ready for despatch, in most cases next day or within 48 hours. Delivery routes are scheduled and we will advise of an approximate delivery day and time when you order.

Products classified as ‘non-stock / special order’ items, being shipped from Italy and other European production plants, are normally available in 14–21 days , however we are currently having to quote a minimum of 6-8 weeks for delivery.

These longer delivery lead times are a result of disruption from the Brexit transition, cross border restrictions from the pandemic, an associated lack of transport resources and the European summer shutdown ahead (which are expected to impact import lead times for the remainder of the year).

Whenever you place an order, whether for an item in stock at our UK warehouse or requiring import from our European production plants, we will always advise a likely delivery date at the time of order.

For non-stock items, we will check availability with the production plant and provide you a provisional delivery estimate based on the current loading and shipping lead times.

If an item is not immediately available from the production plant, we are normally given an expected date of the production run, and can then estimate transport and delivery lead times from that date.

How much will it cost for my order to be delivered?

Pricing for delivery depends on the weight of your order, the delivery location and the tile format selected (such as standard, palletised and boxed items or extra-large format tiles and slabs that are shipped in puropose-built crates). For larger orders delivered within our main area of operation, delivery is likely to be included. For smaller or more complex orders going further afield, there may be an associated cost.

Minoli have our own dedicated showrooms in Oxford and London where our clients are welcome to visit to view, choose and buy tiles and collect samples.

If preferred or perhaps more convenient, we can also arrange a consultation by video call or phone or, depending on the nature of your requirement, we may be able to bring samples to you after an initial qualification of needs and style guidelines.

We also have a number of distribution partners across the south of England from Birmingham to Bristol, throughout London and down to Brighton. Please call us to find out where you can see and buy Minoli products in your local area.

Do my tiles need to be sealed?

In almost all instances – no, because porcelain tiles are extremely dense and non-porous and ceramic tiles are invariably glazed, there is no need to use a specialist sealant prior to use. If you have any doubts or specific questions regarding the use of sealant, please don’t hesitate to ask and we’ll be happy to advise.

Depending on the type of grout used, it is sometimes advisable to use grout sealant to preserve the original colour especially on floors and high footfall walkways. Please see the individual manufacturer recommendations for further details.

How do I clean my tiles?

Today’s porcelain and ceramic tiles are more durable, stain resistant and colourfast than ever. Porcelain is an extremely dense material and, with near zero porosity, the surface is almost impenetrable to water, oil and chemicals. It’s these qualities that make porcelain tiles so attractive and practical in high traffic environments such as shopping centres, retail stores, airports, hospitals and car dealerships, as well as residential homes.

In most circumstances, the maintenance required to keep you tiles looking in first-class condition is very low. If spills and dirt are cleaned up promptly and surfaces are dusted, washed or wiped down regularly, porcelain tiles will remain clean, fresh and hygienic for years to come.

Day to day cleaning can be undertaken using normal household cleaning products, a vacuum, mop and bucket or a steam cleaner, with a periodic deep clean recommended to maintain their gloss and lustre. We do recommend that nothing abrasive is used without prior consideration and a test carried out on a small area.

For further details on how to care for your porcelain or ceramic tiled surfaces, please download our Cleaning and Maintenance guide here.

How can I find out about product variation?

On our website and in our product literature we classify the degree of shade variation within a tile range on a scale of V1-V4. The symbols below indicate the degree of shade variation from tile to tile, characterised by a light to random finish to the surface.
