Fleet “at rest”

The Minoli fleet of Trucks and Vans was rested for the two weeks of the Christmas holidays, in preparation for what promises to be another busy year.

2014 saw the Minoli logistics department move more material to more clients and more sites than in any previous year, so much so that Minoli Transport Manager Chris has ordered two new vehicles as additions to the fleet for early March delivery.

The fleet comprising of 10 trucks and four vans was fully valeted and prepared for the two weeks hibernation during the last working day of 2014, and now after the first week of 2015, which has been extremely busy, we can see that the investment in our own fleet and maintaining it to such a high standard remains an important, if not truly crucial part of our operation.

Having won The Tile Association award for Excellence in Distribution for four consecutive years, the Minoli logistics department still does not rest and strives for greater improvement, which is quite appropriate as we are going to need efficiency and capacity if January so far is an indication of what the year holds for Minoli and our clients.
