An increasingly important requirement and preference in modern building methods is to lessen the environmental impact and improve the sustainability of both the materials used in construction and the performance of the final built environment, and this continues to drive the trend for more responsible choices.
Take for instance the recently launched Minoli ReStone and ReConcrete Series. Combined with other essential natural raw materials, selected sizes of each incorporate over 60% pre- and post-consumer recycled content, so helping create a virtuous system that promotes the reuse of the component elements, reduces consumption and respects the environment.

Using technology that turns waste materials into new tiles means that beautiful and durable porcelain stoneware can be created with a lower impact and without compromising on standards of quality, function and aesthetic appeal.
Manufacturing these ranges in an optimized thickness of 8 mm is a technical choice that reduces resource use and energy consumption. This solution also improves logistical efficiency, allowing more tiles to be transported per shipment and reducing CO₂ emissions along the entire value chain.
If you’re visiting Focus/25 at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, from 15th – 19th September, and with extended viewing through to 16th October, why not drop by our stand and see these innovative and impressive ranges in person.
ReStone reinterprets limestone extracted from the Vienne region, around Poitiers in Central-West France, blending the appeal of Chauvigny Stone and traditional Limestone. Featuring a granular finish for uniformity and a delicate, marbled texture enriched by subtle, non-intrusive veins, the surface appears dotted with microfossils that add points of interest and chromatic depth to the collection.

Available in three natural colourways; Dune, Safari and Indian, and a variety of different sizes ranging from more standard dimensions to extra-large format slabs, ReStone is truly versatile in application. Across the collection, according to the different sizes, there are Matt, Brushed or Structured surfaces, plus Structured & Hammered designs in 20 mm thickness with an R11 slip-resistant rating, for use Outdoors.
ReConcrete combines the visual robustness of concrete merged with the sophistication of stone. The layered, multi-toned composition is enriched with a varied texture which makes it ideal for a wide range of design contexts.
Microfine clasts integrated into the surface add a unique visual dimension, turning each slab into a statement of style and innovation. The series is enhanced by Terrazzo effect tiles, peppered with different coloured inclusions to add depth and dynamism to designs.

ReConcrete is available in three mellow colourways; Rice, Caribbean and Artic, which feature complementary Terrazzo versions. Depending on the dimensions and colours, both Matt and Brushed finishes are available, plus Structured surfaces for use in wet rooms and 20 mm thickness pavers for Outdoor settings.
Selected sizes and finishes of both ReStone and ReConcrete will be held in plentiful UK stock, ready for prompt delivery, and others available to order, with very reasonable shipping lead times.
These series emphatically demonstrate that beautiful and durable porcelain stoneware can be created with a lower environmental impact and without compromising on standards of quality, function and aesthetic appeal.
