The very latest advancements in wood-effect porcelain have seen the introduction of outdoor specification product lines, with a 20 mm thickness and R11 slip resistance ratings.
With these exterior use attributes, Minoli’s wood-look ranges are often specified as alternatives to timber or composite decking. Over natural wood, porcelain tiles have practical advantages in that they will not shrink, split or splinter, warp or show wear, and they are ultimately easier to clean and maintain.
Being almost impervious to moisture and dirt, they are better suited for use in humid and wet areas, will not rot or allow algae to adhere, and are highly resistant to extreme temperatures.
Porcelain tiles can also be manufactured in a wider range of colours but with greater consistency. Higher pattern frequencies ensure the diversity and distribution of the design appears organic, but production in parcels using the same batch of raw materials ensures a homogeneous chromatic finish.

Twelvenoon Honey
Available from stock in the Honey colourway, in 30/120 dimensions, Twelvenoon has the wonderful warmth of weathered wood with all the natural knots and gorgeous graining you would expect in the original material, but with all the advantages of precision-production porcelain. Unlike true timber, porcelain tiles are impervious to water, oil and dirt, and resistant to damage from frost or heat.
Twenty Mist
The Mist design has a mix of pearl and pewter to create a highly contemporary surface design. As a wood-effect range, it’s quite unique to have a timber-look tile in a square 60/60 format, which can be laid with the grain in alternate directions to create an almost chequer-board pattern
Twenty Thunder
The Thunder colourway is a deep and dark grainy grey, with a distinctive, characterful surface design and a durable, fade resistant finish. Also stocked in a 60/60 size with a 20 mm thickness, the textured surface offers slip-resistance whilst being perfectly comfortable underfoot, with precise rectified edges.
Beyond this extensive UK stockholding, such is the traction of the trend for optimising outdoor spaces, many other different Outdoor product designs are available to order with very reasonable lead times from the production plant in Italy.

Gyliane
The Gyliane Series elegantly emulates the natural nuances and irregular inclusions of wood with remarkable authenticity, but with all the practicalities of premium porcelain paving.
In a 30/120 size with a structured surface, 20 mm thickness and R11 slip resistance rating, in the Sawdust, Horse, Map and Incense designs, Gyliane is available to order in Outdoor specification.
Essenza Oudh
As the name suggests, Essenza Oudh seeks to capture the essence of wood in its design and embraces the urge to get back in touch with nature using materials with tactile textures and warm, natural colours.
These wonderful wood-effect tiles, in various lengths and large format slabs, have the graining and natural knots of their organic counterparts, but with all the technical advantages of a high-performance porcelain product.
Essenza Oudh is available to order in all colourways as 30/120 size, 20 mm thick porcelain planks.
