In addition to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (with over 20 OEM motor brands in the Minoli portfolio which you can read about here), we also supply many leading housebuilders and property developers, architects and designers, across London, the South-East and the Home Counties, and they too are seeing increased demand for more extensive and individual garaging solutions.
Commercial Workshops
For commercial workshops, supplying car and van manufacturer brands, dealer groups and individual retail centres, we work closely with Network Development professionals, design architects, dealer management teams and installation contractors.
Our expert teams set out detailed technical specifications for corporate guidelines, hold individual scheme stocks in volume ready for despatch, liaise on order quantities of the relevant tiles for showrooms and workshops, and ensure delivery is made in line with the often demanding build and fit-out schedules.
Specialist porcelain tiles from the Minoli Workshop Series provide the perfect surface solution for vehicle preparation and maintenance areas. When laid correctly on the right substrates, porcelain tiles are extremely durable, slip-resistant and, being highly dense in composition, they are almost impervious to water, oil and dirt. They are also easy to clean, resilient to the common chemicals used in car servicing and are available with specialist pieces for skirting and drainage.
New 20 mm thickness Outdoor porcelain pavers are also perfectly suited for use on external driveways and vehicle wash bays. They allow for efficient water run-off and can be cut or installed with bespoke drainage channels, so providing a high quality surface for back-of-house areas as well.
Private Garages
We’re seeing increased demand for specialist floor and wall tiles for domestic garages. Moreso than ever, our housebuilder and developer clients are ensuring that increasingly impressive vehicle storage space is integrated into the design of residential properties, either within or beneath the main building or as separate standalone structures with additional accommodation, home offices or gyms and leisure facilities above.
Creating special places to park and store cars is nothing particularly new, but we’re excited to see more specialist firms getting into the design and fit-out of ever-more impressive garages.
This increasingly active and innovative area of architecture and interior design spans from simple or specialist garage conversions, through to the creation of awe-inspiring ‘domestic car showrooms’ and subterranean ‘supercar caves’.
Tiling for these private garages can range from Minoli’s more functional Workshop Series through to enhanced and aesthetic designs using larger format porcelain tiles, with either matt, grip or even polished finishes.
These can include ranges with natural stone or concrete-effect finishes, through to incorporating the latest marble and wood-look series, which are all available with different surface treatments to suit any desired design direction. Many are available with coordinating indoor and outdoor specification tiles and pavers, so remarkably consistent transitions can be achieved between interconnecting spaces.
