Since 1991, Nicholas King Homes have been building beautiful properties in and around the Home Counties and South East of England, with an aim to create homes with the customer at the heart of everything they do.
Each development is carefully considered to complement the local surroundings and a common goal throughout the company is to go the extra mile when it comes to those all-important extra touches and deliver houses that can be made homes for a lifetime.
Key to achieving this is ensuring that the materials specified in the design, build and finishing are of the highest quality, including fine porcelain and ceramic tiles from Minoli, in a relationship that began at the start of this decade.
An excellent example of where tiles from Minoli’s collections have been used to great effect is at the Nicholas King Homes development of Westwood Grove in Berkshire. This exclusive collection of just twenty 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses is set in the extensive former tree lined grounds of a grand old house, just minutes from Ascot town centre.
Designed for stylish living and home comforts with modern technology providing energy efficiency, all the homes feature open plan living space, to give a light and airy feel, with private rear gardens that benefit from the charming woodland setting.
In House 2, the spacious kitchen, dining and family living area, is fully fitted with top of the range integrated appliances and includes a breakfast bar island, stone worktops, bifold doors out to the garden and access to the garage with utility.

Throughout the floor has been expertly laid with the Minoli Magnus Series in the Calacatta White colourway. In a sizeable 75/75 format with precise rectified edges and a meticulous Matt finish, these premium, porcelain tiles create an almost seamless surface and complements the stone worksurfaces, kitchen units and contemporary décor.
Moving upstairs to the generous bedroom accommodation, the master ensuite is the perfect space in which to relax and refresh. Here, emulating Italian white marble, the Olimpia Series, in the Natural design with a Matt surface, adorns the walls in 30/60 ceramic and floor in 60/60 porcelain sizes.

Olimpia presents exceptional attention to detail in the graphic treatments and colour tones applied, with more prominent graphite grey veining across the pure white background. The sense of luxury is further enhanced by sleek Villeroy & Boch sanitaryware and Hans Grohe fixtures and fittings in sparkling chrome.
The second bedroom, perfect for visiting guests, also benefits from a surprisingly large and delightfully designed ensuite bathroom. Creating a flawless finish and minimalist style, 60/60 porcelain floor tiles have been matched with 30/60 ceramic wall tiles from the Porter Series in the Greige colourway.

To add a touch of texture, the expansive walk-in shower enclosure has been clad to full height in the coordinating Porter Kind Décor tiles, with a subtle rippled pattern but sublimely soft surface.
Lastly, the family bathroom with dual access from bedroom three and the landing, features both a bath and shower with a bright and airy ambiance. In the design of this space, the Minoli Dual Series has been laid to the floor in a 60/60 size in the warm, Tortora colour and to the wall in the lighter White design, aligned in 30/60 dimensions.

Inspired by the irregular, mottled markings of natural stone, the surface features of Dual in a Matt finish pair perfectly with the earthy and organic accessories in the room.
Our thanks to all the team at Nicholas King Homes for specifying Minoli ranges in their carefully crafted properties, and you can explore more of their exclusive developments on their website here.
