In both public facing areas and within guests’ rooms, the surface choices for hotels and hospitality providers have to deliver on practicality and durability, as well as aesthetics and creating the right ambiance.
No matter the end vision and desired style, Minoli’s porcelain tile collections include an array of designs from minimalist concrete, organic stone, marble, gemstones, natural wood and metal effects, through to artwork-like visuals and block-print patterns. Applied in a single design, or mixed and matched to create features and zones, all manner of creative compositions can be achieved.
Available in such a broad range of sizes, colours and textures, for walls and floors, inside and outdoors, with extra-large format slabs, mosaics and décor pieces, the endless choices provide a unique solution to any commercial interior or exterior design project.
Porcelain tiles are the ideal surface for high footfall areas, such as receptions, lounges, bars and restaurants.

Not only are they extremely hard-wearing and almost impervious to dirt, water and oil, but they are also available in a wide range of classic and contemporary styles, allowing companies to choose the right designs for their individual brand expression.
The larger sized tiles and expansive slabs available today, also allow for installations with fewer grout lines, creating the impression of an almost seamless surface, which are effortless to maintain and keep looking pristine.
In dining areas and bars, where hygiene is paramount, their non-porous surfaces are easy to clean, and they do not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde or petroleum derivatives.
In public restrooms, porcelain is highly resistant to the cleaning chemicals used on a day-to-day basis and will keep looking fresh and dirt-free for years to come.

Thereafter, in ensuite bathrooms, from luxurious bespoke hotels, through to those with more formulaic décor schemes, porcelain and ceramic tiles are simply the surface of choice for walls and floors. With the latest extra-large 120/278 format slabs, shower enclosures and WCs can be clad in single continuous pieces, from floor to ceiling, to stunning effect.

Floor and wall tiles in more standard but still generous sizes, can also be installed with exacting results. With crisp rectified edges and calibrated dimensions, 30/60, 60/60, 60/120 and 120/120 formats, for instance, can be aligned with slabs or combined with coordinating décor pieces to bring a sense of indulgence to even the smallest of bath or shower rooms.
A wider availability of different finishes including polished, matt, silk, brushed, textured, structured and hammered, provides suitable surface solutions for any area of a hotel or hospitality venue. With slip-resistance ratings from R9 and R10 for use in the majority of areas, through to R11 for wet rooms and exterior applications, there are multiple levels of grip that are all designed for maximum comfort underfoot.
There are also new, more sustainably produced ranges that promote the reuse of the component elements, reduce consumption and lessen the environmental impact. Take for instance the recently launched Minoli ReStone and ReConcrete Series which, combined with other essential natural raw materials, each incorporate over 60% pre- and post-consumer recycled content, in selected sizes.
Various premium porcelain ranges from the Minoli collections feature in leading hotels such as The Feathers and Old Abingdon House by Ede Group, Crazy Bear Stadhampton, Home House on Portman Square, The Landmark Hotel and Durrants Hotel in Marylebone.
More examples can also be seen in restaurant and hospitality settings including Lucarelli Restaurant at Harvey Nichols, The Mayfair Chippy, Saracens Stonex Stadium Hospitality Area and team changing rooms, Mamma Mia’s in Oxford and BXR Gyms.
