A few facts on Marvel Shine

The new Marvel Shine range is showcased for this week’s Fab Fact Friday.

Newly introduced for 2021, the Minoli Marvel Shine collection has been inspired by the purest of white marbles from Italy. The creative team sought out the finest Italian marbles and selected only the very best to be the inspiration for the four new colours in the Marvel range.

The unique and purity of white marble presences a brightness like no other. Marvel Shine emulates this thanks to the advanced technology of the modern age, to bring the same beauty and authenticity to an Italian  porcelain tile.

Four white marble colours replicating Calacatta and Statuario marbles are now available for specification from within the Marvel series. Characterised by a bright white marble backdrop and each distinguished by a variation of marble veining and colouration.

Marvel Shine marble effect porcelain tiles are available in three different finishes: Lappato, Matt and a new surface finish completely – Silk.

The polished finish brings out the luminosity of the marble veining and presents a crystal-clear vision of natural stone inspired surface designs. The Lappato finish increases the realism of the surface by adding depth to every graphic detail.

The Matt finish is recognised for its excellent technical features and slip resistance qualities. Suitable for floors including wet areas and within showers, Marvel Shine Matt can provide practical floors and complete the overall marble look for interiors. 

The new Silk finish reflects less light and gives the sense of a velvety feel. Silk is a ‘very lightly-polished’ look which is highly valued within contemporary design. A satin-like tactile sensation that exudes a refined luxury, exclusive to the Minoli Marvel collection. This silk finish is authentic to the surface of natural marble stone.

Marvel Shine white marble look tiles are available in a range of formats. Porcelain tiles with a 9mm thickness are produced in sizes 30/60, 60/60, 37.5/75, 75/75, 75/150, 60/120, 120/120 and 120/240. Extra-large porcelain slabs are complete with a 6mm thickness in sizes 120/278, 160/160 and 160/320.

Décor pieces in the Minoli Marvel Shine range are available in the form of both porcelain and ceramic mosaics. The classic square mosaic come with either a Matt and a Polished finish as do the modern porcelain Esagono mosaics. Which are both suitable for floor and wall installation.

More intricate décor designs in the Marvel Shine collection are the ceramic mosaics. Braided visions of the Twist mosaic provide elegant surfaces upon walls. While the Marvel Shine Hex mosaic presents an ultra-modern style and is available with either Gold, Silver or Pink inserts.
