As part of the Renault Group of automotive brands, Dacia was first launched in the UK in 2013. The brand’s history dates back to 1966 when just one model was made under licence in Romania before Renault acquired a 51% stake in 1999.
The new brand strategy was to open up an entirely new category, addressing emerging markets, with its specifications summed up in three words: modern, reliable and affordable.
Given Minoli’s long standing relationship with Renault and proven supply capabilities, servicing the Dacia network’s requirements was a logical extension to our existing remit.
