THROWBACK THURSDAY
This week on #Throwbackthursday we are looking at an event we held in September of 2017 in the Minoli showroom on George Street, Marylebone W1.
Thursday September 14th 2017 saw Minoli host Classic Cars on George Street, where quite literally the street outside of the showroom was cordoned off and a display of amazing and interesting cars was presented for the night.
Classic Cars on George Street was a truly unique opportunity for invited guests to hear industry expert Max Girardo of Girardo and Co speak about the classic car market… Max who had recently founded Girardo & Co after over ten years running RM Southeby’s European Division spoke about the unique market that classic cars are traded within, especially those that Max specialises in… the very top end.
The guests were not only treated to a speech and Q&A session with Max, but also to exquisite catering by Home House and wines by Santome.
Jonathon Minoli, Managing Director of Minoli who hosted the event and introduced Max to the assembled audience commented “We were fortunate to have been able to secure the event within Max’s diary, as he is an exceptionally busy man with driving and business engagements on all five continents, in fact as soon as he finished his talk within the Minoli showroom, he was whisked off to drive in Spa.”
Afterwards, the Minoli guests were able to view the cars brought along by Max and his Girardo team, which included a Ferrari F50, Lancia Delta Integrale and a Ferrari 365 Daytona… A truly impressive display!
Classic Cars was the second major event for Minoli in 2017, after the amazing success of the event on May 4th with Paul Denning and the Crescent World Superbike Team.
Much like that event, we have to thank Westminster Council for the kind assistance in allowing the evening to take place.
