2006 – 2020
Today is the final day in our countdown to the launch tomorrow May 14th.
We are again looking back, but also looking at today and the Minoli fleet.
Although we were greatly attached to the Minoli livery created by Peter Minoli, by the early 2000’s it was starting to look a little dated and the emotional attachment had to be put to one side for the good of the business…
After consulting several agencies Minoli settled on Lloyd Northover to redesign the Minoli logo and livery, which was launched in September of 2006.
At the same time, the company started the transition from 7.5T trucks to higher capacity 12.5T trucks with fitted tail lifts to better serve the needs of the clients, although these 12.5T trucks were soon superseded by 16T and 18T vehicles.
It was decided that although the white and black trucks were recognisable as being ‘Minoli’ this corporate identity for 2006 needed a new background and so the trucks were ordered in a metallic silver, cab and body.
2006 – 2012
The initial livery from 2006 had the new Minoli logo to the front of the ‘box’ and the striking ‘Surface Within’ graphics to the rear. The cabs were emblazoned with a new logo which is only used for the Minoli team members – Minoli M-One Team.
2012 – 2020
In 2012 the truck livery was updated, with the bold ‘Surface Within’ designs now applied to the rear shutter and the Minoli CI to each side of the ‘box’, this newly designed concept also incorporated a recognition of the substantial awards Minoli had gained in recent years. The M-One Team logo remained on the cab slightly updated but still very recognisable.
By this time the fleet also included a large number of vans for use in delivery and for the Marketing team.
As for the black truck – honestly we cannot recall why, when we had such a clear CI with silver vehicles. This truck was ordered in metallic black and it did look very striking upon delivery especially with the registration M1 NOL.
