The team at Girardo & Co, led by Max Girardo and Cat Bunch, hosted the summer Carhuna Cars & Coffee morning at their showrooms in Ascott, Oxfordshire on Saturday July 27th.
The array of cars on show was as ever simply amazing, with everything from classic Ferraris to the latest Gordon Murray Automotive T50 – which literally left the factory the day before and is one of the very first cars on the road.
Girardo & Co are world renowned for discreetly sourcing and powerfully marketing the greatest classic cars in the world. As such, they need a physical facility, befitting their profile, in which to deliver a distinctly delightful experience for their discerning, international client base.
Completed in December 2022, the centrepiece showroom at Girardo & Co at Belchers Farm is a barn conversion of hangar-like proportions in which Girardo’s coveted classics are on display. They have also more recently completed the development of a new showroom, client reception and clubhouse, affectionately known as ‘The Playhouse’.
With three main display areas open, featuring porcelain tiles by Minoli, the visitors were really spoiled for choice as to where to look next. The Minoli tiles that feature in the showroom areas include the wood effect of Twelvenoon Daylight, Luminous Lume majolica style tiles in the green colourway and the polished marble look of Minoli Marvel Desert Soul.
Carhuna, a classic and supercar auction and sales website, founded by many of the leading independent specialists in the field, is growing quickly and the attendance on Saturday was case in point.
Carhuna are committed to making the online experience of buying and selling cars, bikes, automobilia, parts and plates as enjoyable and straightforward as possible. Whether you’re on the hunt for your dream vehicle or looking to sell a treasured collectible, Carhuna facilitate a smooth journey from start to finish for their community of like-minded automotive enthusiasts.
The event was also co-hosted by DK Engineering, experts in sourcing the rarest road and competition cars ever to turn a wheel. They specialise in the restoration and race preparation of Ferraris, but also deal in other exotic, high-performance automobile brands including Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.
Although the visitors’ cars and those on display by Carhuna and the supporting specialists were amazing, of course the displays within the Girardo showrooms were really something to behold.
Our sincere thanks to James Cottingham of DK Engineering and Max & Cat of Girardo for the invitation to attend the event and to Freddie Atkins for the photography.
