This week we’re enjoying showcasing the Minoli collections of porcelain tiles and large format slabs at London Design Week 2025 at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. There’s a real buzz around the venue and district as interior designers, architects and property developers take time to visit and view all the participating exhibitors and stores.
One of the reasons the event has become so well established in the interior design calendar is the wealth of different specialists that are on show together, meaning that all the required components of a design scheme can be explored in one place. Whether a project requires fabrics, furniture, lighting, hardware or indeed tiles, for a bathroom, kitchen, living space or multi-room renovations, London Design Week provides a one-stop destination for inspiration.
It’s been a pleasure to be amongst so many creative companies and to meet our contemporaries with their complementary products and materials. We’ve picked out a few notable product groups in adjacent sectors of the design industry that resonate with the tile ranges that we supply, illustrated with images of where designers and developers have used tiles by Minoli in their projects.

1. Hardware & Fittings
Working closely, as we do, with bathroom and kitchen designers, and when choosing fixtures and fittings, window and door furniture, sockets and trims, our clients are often looking to see how our tiles will harmonise within the overall design. Whether in chrome or brass, brushed or polished, or manufactured in more modern or classic materials, the choice of colour and finish is an important consideration, not least as the budget for this ‘brightwork’ can often mount up. Within the Minoli collections of porcelain tiles, whether looking at the base colours, or the tints and tones within the veining of marble effect ranges, inclusions in stone and terrazzo, or the pigments in block-print patterns, you’ll find a wide array or coordinating chromatics. Gold, bronze and copper, silver and steel, graphite and pewter, green, blue, orange and brown can all be found in Minoli’s curated collections.

2. Lighting & Lamps
At the show there we’ve seen some stunning displays of innovative and bespoke lighting and lamps, including highly contemporary and more traditional pendant, wall mounted and table-top designs. Where tiles with structured or textured 3D surfaces are installed on walls, the way light falls to create highlights and shadows can bring a real sense of depth and movement to interiors. Also, light appears differently on Matt and Polished tile finishes with more saturated and reflective surfaces respectively. The choice of bulb, brightness, shade, warmth and colour of fitting can make a remarkable difference in a room’s décor and so should be considered carefully as part of the whole design process.

3. Fabrics & Soft Furnishings
At LDW25 we’ve seen delightful displays of textiles that recreate or celebrate traditional patterns, through to more imaginative, new styles that push the boundaries of how materials are used in interior design. Whether to complement or contrast within a room setting, different fabrics and soft furnishings bring comfort, texture and have beneficial acoustic qualities. Soft weaves, bold patterns, metallic effects and natural fibre designs show the variety and versatility of how different materials can be used. We always love to see completed projects when exacting and technical tile installations are fused with flowing fabrics that create undulating and natural forms.

4. Contemporary & Classic Furniture
The inventive craft of modern furniture design and the range of frames and coverings used are showcased prominently at LDW25. Within some of the latest Minoli ranges we see designs influenced by materials like slatted wood and metallic finishes that are found in modern furniture design. Furniture can be used to pick out the tints and tones in various tile ranges or indeed, muted and subtle tile designs can effectively create more neutral canvases against which to centre-stage standout furnishings. Different coloured tiling can also be used to define zones or anchor dining suites, kitchen workstations or seating areas within an open space. From traditional wooden chairs and tables to more free-form, sumptuous sofas, armchairs and ottomans, there’s much to take in at the show.

5. Kitchen & Bathroom Components
There are several leading kitchen and bathroom providers within the Design Centre, supplying sanitary and brass ware, fixtures, fittings, bespoke units and state-of-the-art appliances, as well as designing luxury kitchens, bathrooms and ensuites for stunning properties. Tiles within the Minoli collection are available with a variety of grippy structured surfaces, ideal for use in wet areas, and tiles create entirely waterproof and very hygienic surfaces. With the latest extra-large format slabs and book match designs, entire walls can be fitted with uninterrupted pieces spanning floor to ceiling, and can be precisely cut for tap, shower, power and drainage requirements.
Minoli are at LDW25 all week until the main show closes on Friday afternoon and we’d love to invite you to our stand if you are planning to visit the event. Guests can easily register to attend free of charge, via this link: https://www.dcch.co.uk/london-design-week/register/
