Minoli have been supplying selected porcelain tiles for external application for many years, but especially so since the original launch of the ‘interno – esterno’ range in 2012. Now, in response to the ever-increasing demand from garden designers, professional landscapers, house builders, developers and residential homeowners, we’re delighted to launch a newly assembled and much expanded collection, specifically produced for use outside, called Outdoor by Minoli.
From the leading production plants in Italy, these ranges feature the latest in tile manufacturing technology. Advancements in production allow for more expansive sizes, 20 mm thickness, increased load bearing and frost resistance, anti-slip qualities and higher-definition surface design, resulting in an unprecedented diversity of textures and finishes.
In concrete and wood effects through to those that emulate natural stone, many in Minoli’s extensive Outdoor collection have coordinating interior tiles to match, so near seamless indoor to outside transitions can be achieved.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll deep-dive into the detail of these new ranges, but for now here’s a snapshot of the overall collection to give you a sense of what’s to come from Outdoor by Minoli.
The initial portfolio of Outdoor products includes ten specific ranges, from which we will hold some 35 different product lines in plentiful UK stock, ready for prompt delivery, with other sizes and colours available to order.
Reminiscent of the stonework villas of the Mediterranean, in the Minoli Aix range we find the perfect symbiosis between nature and architecture, with an organic appearance but precision production techniques that create the highest performing porcelain.
The Norde range is inspired by quartzite stones that, through a varied mineral composition, feature colour change and movement as light plays across their structured surfaces. These are technically advanced tiles, with particular product strengths being the detailed graphics, varied shades, rich colours and the authentic interpretation of their quarried counterparts.
Elysian elevates the effect of stoneware to new levels of architectural and aesthetic appeal. From a distance, the mottled surfaces and muted tones appear minimalist, while up close we find the natural nuances and delicate detailing of mineral materials.
Boost Stone is inspired by limestone extracted from the French Pyrenees with refined features and flecks of colour that emulate the earthy tone of natural stone. The organic origins of this range act as a creative canvas against which to play with brighter colours in contrast.
Inspired by the beautiful, blue-grey ornamental stone found around the Italian lakes of Lombardy, tiles from the Norway range have a pleasing and playful pebble-effect. With such variety of shape and shading within the pronounced patterning, Norway brings interest and individuality to any environment.
Twenty brings variety and versatility with designs in the appearance of solid stone and others with the look of textured timber. In shades that span cool to cosy, Twenty allows you to play with tone and texture to achieve your desired design direction.
Twelvenoon has the wonderful warmth of weathered wood with all the gnarly knots and gorgeous graining you would expect in the natural product, but with all the advantages of precision-production porcelain.
Glocal has the cool and contemporary look of hand-rendered concrete and, whilst the outdoor surface is structured, it has interesting irregularities without being rough to the touch. This is a truly versatile product that delivers blended backdrops for your furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Boost is soft and sumptuous, creating sleek and stylish spaces wherever it is installed. This premium, porcelain product allows you to bring a sense of indulgent, urban luxury and a modern, technical aesthetic, using the latest manufacturing methods.
Flux brings an industrial element and contemporary character to any outdoor area. In cool and calming colours and a structured but soft, suede-like surface, Flux feels flawless underfoot.
In addition to holding UK stock in volume of the above Outdoor products, all of these ranges have internal coordinating counterparts and other colours, sizes and surface variants that are generally available from stock or to order from production. As are often required to complete projects in outside settings, special pieces and finishes can also be ordered, such as edging, skirting, drainage, step treads and corner trims.
