As the Pata Prometeon Yamaha team unveiled its 2024 R1 WorldSBK livery last weekend, Team Principal, Paul Denning said that “2024 looks set to become the most intense and intriguing season of WorldSBK competition ever.”
With leading title contenders boldly sporting Yamaha ‘Racing Blue’ colours for this season, six-time WorldSBK Champion, Jonathan Rae, has joined the team to try and claim his seventh title, and Andrea Locatelli returns for a fourth year as an established contender for podium positions and wins.
As pre-season testing took place for two days at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimão, Portugal), the riders and team are eagerly anticipating the start of this year’s FIM Superbike World Championship, with the season-opener in Australia at Phillip Island from 23-25 February.
This is the 5th season that Minoli have supported as Technical Partners to the team. Minoli have also supplied specialist porcelain tiles for the Yamaha WorldSBK Team’s dedicated facilities in Verwood, Dorset, as well as for Crescent Motorcycle’s showrooms and workshops, as one of the country’s leading motorcycle retailers.
Jonathon Minoli, Managing Director of the long-established Minoli family business said, “It’s always an exciting time when the teams reveal their liveries for the championship season ahead and we get to see these stunning machines in their full racing colours.
“We are delighted to see the Minoli brand logo in place on the bikes and race truck, as well as the pit walling and hospitality zone, and to once again show our support for Paul and all of his passionate and talented team members.
“We wish the team, Jonathan Rea and Andrea Locatelli the very best of luck for this year’s championship and their quest to compete once more for the World Title.”
Pata Prometeon Yamaha Team Principal, Paul Denning added, “Motorsport is about engineering, speed, bravery and passion – but it’s also about quality, professionalism and presentation. In all these areas Minoli excels, and we are proud to use their porcelain tiles in our workshops, administration facilities, board and meeting rooms and the Crescent retail showrooms.
“Our Yamaha WorldSBK partnership allows us to promote Minoli’s brand and to communicate the company’s USPs across innovation, service and quality, and we look forward to the 2024 season together!”
