Over the Christmas and New Year period the Minoli fleet is .. At Rest.
With our fleet of 10 purpose built delivery trucks, together with vans and support vehicles busy throughout the year it is unusual to see them all together having a little rest!
The Christmas break enables us to have the vehicles prepared for the coming year and a full audit of the fleet takes place.
With business increasing, it is quite likely that further investment will take place in the spring of this year.
Chris, the warehouse and transport manager is currently loooking at replacement of the slightly older vehicles with our latest design vehicle type as well as looking at the internal lift equipment, and the “yard” forklifts for unloading the containers from Italy and other manufacturing sources.
Jonathon Minoli, Managing director commented ” we are not afraid to invest in our back of house infrastructure, even in what are still uncertain times, Chris in the warehouse office is currently looking at trucks and forklifts, if the levels of business especially within distribution continue to grow then we will not only look to replace existing machinery but to add to our capability and order capacity”
Minoli use DAF CF and LF Truck, the purpose built truck body is produced to a unique Minoli specification by Ken Kerr of Oxfordshire. Material handling equipment is supplied by Linde, Minoli have used Linde equipment within our warehouse exclusively for almost 30 years.
