Minoli Oxford Team explore the new London Home

Minoli, the award-winning tile distributor, has marked the opening of their new London facility with two launch events for key clients, retail partners and suppliers.

On the evening of Thursday 12th September, some 150 guests gathered for a champagne reception and the opportunity to explore the company’s stunning, new, state-of-the-art showroom and resource centre, called The Surface Within, located in the heart of the ‘Baker Street Quarter’.

This was followed by an informal afternoon open-house on Sunday 15^th September, where a further 50 guests enjoyed a more leisurely tour of the facilities and the products on display.

The catering for both events was provided by Home House head chef, Jeremy Brown, including canapés, exquisitely prepared on site for the evening event, and tantalising tea-time fare for Sunday’s session.

On the ground floor, the premises comprise The Gallery, with large format displays and room settings, and the thoughtfully designed Presentation Suite where, by appointment, clients and their guests can hold meetings in this perfectly equipped environment.

On the lower-ground floor, The Studio offers a creative space with a substantial line-up of samples arranged around a purpose-built work station, providing the perfect place to create schemes and fine tune selections.

Last but not least, The Retreat provides a secluded haven from the hustle and bustle of the streets above, with low-level lighting and seating, a wall mounted flat-screen TV, desk-space with WiFi and a great cup of coffee.

The Surface Within is located at 71-73 George Street, London W1U 8AQ. George Street runs north of and parallel to Oxford Street and is ideally located for ease of access from Mayfair, Marylebone and Marble Arch.
