Minoli Launches New Showroom In London’s West End

Established in 1960, as one of the UK’s original tile distributors, Minoli have always had strong links with London through the company’s heritage and relationships with clients and distribution partners based in and around the Capital.

The company was in fact founded in Islington in the 1940s and, though later relocating to Oxford, Minoli have always recognised the importance of servicing the vibrant and expanding market that the capital provides.

Now, with the opening of a new premises in the heart of the West End, they’re returning to their roots to provide an even more valuable range of services to those in the area and across the South East.

Behind this new venture lie the solidity, resource and expertise that has seen Minoli outperform the market through the economic downturn. Operating from their purpose-built headquarters and distribution centre in Oxford, Minoli have built an enviable reputation in the marketplace for their ability and reliability in delivering outstanding products with service excellence.

Minoli’s long-standing relationships with some of the most pre-eminent manufacturers in the world, means they are often first to market with the very latest porcelain, ceramic and mosaic tiles, many of which are exclusive.

The company’s business model is based on holding the vast majority of lines in plentiful stock, so over 95% of client orders can be delivered within 24 hours. Minoli’s state-of-the-art warehouse facilities are laid out over an impressive 22,000 square feet and contain well over £1 million in net cost value stock.

Minoli also run their own upgraded fleet of 18 specially built trucks and vans. With a daily delivery capacity in excess of 80,000 KGS, Minoli are able to offer a service considered second to none.

Located at 71 – 73 George Street, London W1U 8AQ, The Surface Within showcases the very best of the Company’s exciting new and established collections with extensive product displays and samples.

Ideally located for ease of access from Mayfair, Marylebone and Marble Arch, the new facility offers more convenient access to Minoli in London and a central destination to which clients can invite both customers and colleagues for consultations, product selection and inspiration.

In designing the space, Minoli thought carefully about the needs of their varied customer base including; house builders, developers, designers, corporate clients, resellers, retailers and the automotive and hospitality sectors.

On the ground floor, the premises comprise The Gallery, with large format displays and room settings, and the thoughtfully designed Presentation Suite where, by appointment, clients and their guests can hold meetings in this perfectly equipped environment.

On the lower-ground floor, The Studio offers a creative space with a substantial line-up of samples arranged around a purpose-built work station, providing the perfect place to create schemes and fine tune selections.

Last but not least, The Retreat provides a secluded haven from the hustle and bustle of the streets above, with low-level lighting and seating, a wall mounted flat-screen TV, desk-space with WiFi and a great cup of coffee.
