Minoli have supplied Flair Studio for a number of high-profile projects and a fine example of this is the stunning new Lucarelli Restaurant in the opulent setting of the fifth floor of the Harvey Nichols flagship department store, founded in 1831 in Knightsbridge, London.
The centrepiece of the prestigious food hall, the Lucarelli bar and restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine from award-winning chef, Aldo Zilli. Flair Studio designed and project managed the creation the beautiful hospitality area which ingeniously features an open kitchen by incorporating neglected back of house spaces and connecting them to the main hall.
Officially handed over for service to customers in November 2022, Minoli Luminous Lume in the Green colourway has been used to create a brilliant and bold backdrop on the walls around the wood-fired pizza oven and bar area. Finished with glistening gold trim, these high-gloss tiles pick up the tones of other soft furnishings and surfaces to create a delightful environment that fuses classic and contemporary design directions.
Luminous Lume is a realistically retro, subway brick effect porcelain tile. In its striking 6/24 letterbox format and purposefully irregular patterning, Luminous Lume has caught the imagination, emulating the individuality of genuine majolica tiles.
Now with twelve tempting tones, all held as stock items, this range is characterised by exquisite shade variation which brings such authenticity to the design, enhanced by the effect of oxidised edges and a hand-crafted appearance.
Despite some of the deep tints and tones, the reflective qualities of the high-shine finish illuminate a space, creating instantly inviting interiors, with surfaces that have an almost liquid lustre.
If you are in London, why not treat yourself with a visit to this first-class dining experience and choose some culinary delicacies from the exquisite Harvey Nichols food hall.
