Chris Koenig, well known journalist for the Oxford Mail and Times was looking for serious comment about the changes being imposed on companies in regards to pension provision, several companies and business leaders were contacted for Comment including Minoli.
In the article, Jonathon Minoli, Managing Director of Minoli is asked to comment on the implications for a company the size of Minoli with under 50 employees, (but over the 20 stated in the article, we have around 36 currently), “We recognise that automatic enrolment into a workplace pension is a responsible move by the government and a positive step forward or many across the country.
“Although we welcome this move, some consideration needs to be given to whether people can afford the monthly deductions from their salary at this difficult time.
“For smaller bsuinesses, it is of benefit that companies without the significant resources needed to enforce this program are under no obligation to do so in this climate.
“At Minoli, we will be encouraging participation where suitable for our employees to do so.”
