Minoli Porcelain Tile Ranges Specified By Christopher Wren Developments

A longstanding client of Minoli, Christopher Wren Developments have been crafting beautiful, bespoke properties, throughout East Berkshire, West Surrey and North Hampshire, since 1978.

One such recently completed project is Brycedale House, a very substantial five-bedroom family home located in a much favoured and sought after private residential estate in East Horsley.

Set in grounds of nearly an acre, with a formal landscaped garden and lightly wooded area, this prestigious property is one of Christopher Wrens largest developments and provides just over 5000sq ft of high specification accommodation.

Within the designs, the team were able to incorporate a number of distinct features that set this home apart, the first being in the hallway. As you enter the property, a bespoke centrepiece staircase follows the curved walls as it draws your eye through to the top of the building. The sense of light and height is enhanced by the floor tiling chosen, which is principally the polished, white marble-effect, Minoli Marvel Calacatta Extra in a 60/60 dimension. The space is finished with an inset band of Marvel Noir Saint Laurent, which accentuates the dark-wood doors and French polished banisters.

Another room of note is the expansive open-plan kitchen and dining area. This is the heart of this home and the kitchen was designed by Martin Moore and hand painted on site, with no detail left untouched including the bespoke cabinet handles. In this classy and contemporary space, the Clay Calm porcelain tile brings an almost cloud-like composition with its soft, subtle surface and 80/80 size.

Thereafter, Minoli’s porcelain ranges have also been installed within several of the luxurious bathrooms. In the main en-suite, the marble-effect of Cosmopolitan Statuario Extra on the walls and floors, creates a stunning, ‘boutique hotel’ backdrop to the generous, free-standing bath, with its delightfully detailed silvery veining.

In another of the five bathrooms, complementary products from the Clay Delight Collection are used to great effect, with their micro-fine finish across the floors, bath surround and walk-in shower enclosure. And lastly, in a third bathroom, the delicate, dappled design of Minoli Dreamwell has created a comforting and calming environment, all impeccably finished with Villeroy & Boch sanitary units and Grohe brassware and accessories.
