As we continue to mark the 65th anniversary of Minoli in 2025, our very good friends at Road Race Rally created a unique piece of artwork that recognises the part that the Minoli distribution fleet has played in the success of the company.
The artwork created by Joe Coade and the team at RRR showcases a most amazing image of M1 NOL, which is a 26t DAF Truck and the fourth vehicle to carry the coveted registration plate as the Minoli flagship delivery vehicle.

We were so delighted with the original piece that we decided to commission further copies to present to others that have helped establish and grow the Minoli truck fleet over the years, such as the team at DAF Trucks.
On Monday 24th March, Jonathon Minoli visited the DAF UK head office in Haddenham in Oxfordshire to present one of the limited edition artworks to Russell Patmore, DAF Trucks’ UK Sales Director. We were also delighted to bring along the DAF Truck that stars in the artwork, M1 NOL, driven by Terry Scott from the Minoli logistics team.

In a relationship that spans almost four decades, Minoli has chosen DAF and supplying Dealer HTC Group to meet its requirements for reliable, robust vehicles that have been purpose-built to the company’s exacting and often changing needs.

Jonathon was also taken on a guided tour of the state-of-the-art Haddenham facility by Philip Moon, Marketing Manager at DAF Trucks, which included a look at the history timeline of DAF since the company was founded in 1928.

The DAF UK head office in Haddenham is the home to DAF Trucks, PACCAR Parts and PACCAR Financial, with a total team of around 180 staff. Opened in 2018, after moving from DAF’s long-term home in the neighbouring town of Thame, the purpose built facility includes offices, an auditorium and team restaurant and the DAF Academy training facility, which delivers practical and classroom training for technicians and other members of the DAF Dealer Network.
DAF has led the UK market for trucks, greater than 6 tonnes (GVW) for over 30 years and has a nationwide dealer network of some 136 dealer locations. The vast majority of DAF trucks registered in the United Kingdom are built in the Lancashire production facility.
Registration number M1 NOL is a DAF CF Series 340, 26 tonne Curtain Sided Rigid with Moffett forklift and, given how frequently this vehicle will be delivering into central London, a lift and steer tag axle was also fitted. This state-of-the-art truck allows us to carry increased tonnage and to unload safely and efficiently greater volumes of tiles and extra-large slabs, more conveniently at our clients’ sites.

The Minoli fleet now comprises 11 DAF Trucks, 3 Fiat Ducato Vans and a further 5 support vehicles, that give a daily delivery capacity in excess of 100,000 KGs, all on vehicles specifically designed to meet our needs and those of our clients.
Our sincere thanks to Russell Patmore, Philip Moon and the DAF HQ team for their hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. Also, to Martin Pidsley of Big Sound Marketing for the super images of the presentation and M1 NOL on site.
