The opening day of London Design Week marked the launch of the brand new Minoli ReStone and ReConcrete Series of sustainably produced, porcelain tiles and extra-large format slabs.

Adopting innovative new techniques, both ranges feature tiles manufactured using 60% pre-consumer, recycled content, reclaimed from the initial raw material processing and firing cycle, combined with other essential natural ingredients.
Realising the perfect balance between aesthetics and environmental responsibility, this inventive approach helps create a virtuous system that promotes the reuse of the component elements, reduces consumption and respects the environment.
Manufacturing these ranges in an optimized thickness of 8 mm is a technical choice that reduces resource use and energy consumption. This solution also improves logistical efficiency, allowing more tiles to be transported per shipment and reducing CO₂ emissions along the entire value chain.
In presenting these collections, the Minoli team have seen much interest from attendees in both the design styles and material composition of the products, with discussions about their inclusion in both residential and commercial settings.
ReStone reinterprets limestone extracted from the Vienne region, around Poitiers in Central-West France, blending the appeal of Chauvigny Stone and traditional Limestone. Featuring a granular finish for uniformity and a delicate, marbled texture enriched by subtle, non-intrusive veins, the surface appears dotted with microfossils that add points of interest and chromatic depth to the collection.

Available at launch in three natural colourways; Dune, Safari and Indian, and a variety of different sizes ranging from more standard dimensions to extra-large format slabs, ReStone is truly versatile in application. Across the collection, according to the different sizes, there are Matt, Brushed or Structured surfaces, plus Structured & Hammered designs in 20 mm thickness with an R11 slip-resistant rating, for use Outdoors.
ReConcrete combines the visual robustness of concrete merged with the sophistication of stone. The layered, multi-toned composition is enriched with a varied texture which makes it ideal for a wide range of design contexts.
Microfine clasts integrated into the surface add a unique visual dimension, turning each slab into a statement of style and innovation. The series is enhanced by Terrazzo effect tiles, peppered with different coloured inclusions to add depth and dynamism to designs.

ReConcrete is available at launch in three mellow colourways; Rice, Caribbean and Artic, which feature complementary Terrazzo versions. Depending on the dimensions and colours, both Matt and Brushed finishes are available, plus Structured surfaces for use in wet rooms and 20 mm thickness pavers for Outdoor settings.
Selected sizes and finishes of both ReStone and ReConcrete will be held in plentiful UK stock, ready for prompt delivery, and others available to order, with very reasonable shipping lead times.
These series emphatically demonstrate that beautiful and durable porcelain stoneware can be created with a lower environmental impact and without compromising on standards of quality, function and aesthetic appeal.
