Earlier this autumn we completed The extensive refurbishment project for the Sales Administration and Finance Team offices at the Minoli Headquarters in Oxford is complete.
As the business operations hub of the company, the project has seen a comprehensive refresh and refit of the environment, in keeping with the brand standards seen in other areas of the Minoli facilities.
Experience Design & Architecture practice, Meda, undertook the initial interior design remit, and since then we’ve been working with various long-standing Minoli suppliers to realise the vision.
One of the key objectives of the project has been to create distinct zones for the Sales Administration and Finance teams, whilst delivering continuity of décor, furnishing and branding throughout this substantial space. With capacity for up to 15 staff, there’s much collaborative working between these departments, but the layout needed to also allow for finance and HR matters to be conducted with a degree of separation.
To achieve this, the design includes a new dividing wall, but with generous, open glass double-doors within a chrome-edged ‘portal’ fitted with graphic back-lit panels featuring sunny woodland scenes, designed and manufactured by Leach, who provide display design solutions to numerous sectors.
This echoes another ‘portal’ entrance situated between the office space and the Corporate Clients showroom, on the same floor, which includes back-lit images of Minoli porcelain tiles installed in various settings.
The interior fitout and build was undertaken by Tapper Interiors, led by Gary Lucas, and also comprises a wall to create an open corridor through to the stairway to the top floor-boardroom providing more discreet access for visitors.
Throughout, new desks and cabinets by Walter Knoll have created a contemporary and comfortable working environment for the team, and a new break-out / reception area also includes a rug, coffee table and lounge chairs. Plus, for meetings or to just work standing for a while, the finance area features an elegant, large, high-level table with bar stools, also by Walter Knoll. All desks are also equipped with the renown, ergonomic Aeron office chairs supplied by Workstation.
Lastly, to complete the branded look for this area, new tile displays, wall graphics and images, and brochure racks were all supplied by Beatriz Alemany at Disbea Showlutions, who also provides display stands for Minoli’s showrooms.
Thanks to all the companies and their teams who have contributed to the remarkable transformation of our working environment, and you can read more about their products and services on their respective websites.
