Based in Finstock, Oxfordshire, award-winning housebuilder, Castlethorpe Homes have a passion for quality, a focus on design and an ethos that delivers what homeowners value most. They create beautifully crafted properties across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and surrounding counties using the very latest innovations in sustainable building techniques and materials.
Willowside Grange is a remarkable development of Cotswold stone houses and Dutch Barns by Castlethorpe Homes, in the picturesque village of Withington, near Cheltenham. Throughout these perfectly appointed properties, porcelain tile series from Minoli feature in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas and hallways, creating characterful surfaces on floors and walls.
By way of example, The Hayrick is a stunning 4-bedroom, family home, of barn-style construction, with Cotswold stone, timber style cladding and an elegant, arched zinc roof. As with all Castlethorpe homes, throughout it features the finest quality materials, fixtures, fittings and appliances and has been designed to deliver the best possible outcomes for the homeowner.
Downstairs, the entrance hallway, kitchen, dining area, utility and boot room floors are expertly laid in Minoli Storm White. In an expansive 90/90 format, creating a continuous surface and effortless flow between the rooms, these larger formats require less grout lines and give a greater feeling of space and open expanse on the floors.

On the first floor, the master bedroom has stunning, uninterrupted views across the open countryside and paddocks to mature woodlands. This principal accommodation area includes a generous dressing room and luxurious ensuite bathroom, with a contemporary free-standing bath and wonderful walk-in shower enclosure.
Here we see the playful, pebble-patterns of Minoli Boost Mix, in the Ivory colourway, installed in a 60/120 size to the walls and coordinating 60/60 dimensions to the floor. In these fine, Italian, porcelain tiles, with precise rectified edges, the pale taupe tones and sandy beige flecks emulate the distinctive and dynamic Ceppo Di Grè stone from the north-western shores of Lake Iseo in Italy, which harmonise with the chrome fittings and natural basketweave accessories.

Also, within the Willowside Grange development, The Stirrups is a substantial, detached farmhouse/barn style Manor House in Cotswold Stone, all of which was reclaimed from the disused farm buildings to blend with the surrounding properties.
The delightful, open-plan kitchen and living area with adjoining utility room is fitted with beautiful, sage-green bespoke units and a large island breakfast bar, with expansive bi-fold doors leading to the paved patio and private garden. The high-end specification of this room includes under cabinet lighting, a state-of-the-art induction hob and Bora downdraft extractor unit, and a high-tech Quooker water system.
Another feature of the space is the floor which has been finished in the Minoli Twelvenoon series of rectified, wood-effect porcelain planks, in the Burnet colourway. Twelvenoon presents the gorgeous graining and natural knots found in real timber floors, but with all the practical benefits of a premium porcelain product.

Our sincere thanks to Chris Warner and the team at Castlethorpe Homes for specifying porcelain tiles from Minoli and for sharing these impressive images.
