The working relationship between Jonathon Minoli and Dan Haines spans some 30 years and has flourished since Dan founded his own company back in 2008. Prior to that, since staring as an apprentice in 1990, he acquired his sign-writing skills working with another, long-retired, Oxford-based signwriter, which is when he first encountered Minoli.
Since establishing Dan Haines Signs, the company has earned a loyal and expanding clients base and, to fulfil increasing demand for his services, Dan’s son Louis joined the family firm in 2018. In general, Louis runs the workshop and printing production, whilst Dan is more on the installation side and client relationships.
Dan has been involved in many varied projects for Minoli, but one of the most visible is the application of the graphic liveries across the entire Minoli truck and vehicle fleet. This ranges from vinyl letters and logos on Minoli’s five smaller support vehicles and 3 larger Fiat Ducato Vans, through to full vehicle body wraps for the high-specification DAF Trucks, purpose built to meet Minoli’s needs, and those of our clients.
These expansive vinyl wraps envelop the entire cargo holding body of the truck, recreating in high definition the surface designs of some of Minoli’s most sought-after and colourful ranges, providing an eye-catching representation of our brand on the roads throughout the Home Counties, Southern England, London and South East.
For the most recent additions to the fleet, Dan also created and applied all the branding on the cabs and rear doors for Minoli’s two DAF LGVs. These also feature graphics of Minoli Marvel Fior Di Bosco and Wanderlust Labradorite on the rear vinyl curtains, which were produced by Andrew Mitchell & Co Ltd and incorporated into the body build by Wessex Vehicle Services.
In fact, his first commission for Minoli was the signwriting of a van but since then he has also applied vinyl graphics for the Minoli stands at design shows and trade events, installed branding and created signage for our premises in Oxford and London, as well as ensuring we meet various legislative requirements with compliance notices for TFL, amongst other things.
Dan Haines Signs specialises in creating high-quality and eye-catching signage for businesses of all sizes. Based in Oxfordshire, they operate throughout the Home Counties, the South and across London, with expertise in vehicle branding, vinyl banners, traditional signwriting, office and retail premises signage, frosted window film, LED displays, architectural wrapping and even mug printing.
Our thanks to Dan and Louis for helping showcase the Minoli brand in so many ways and you can see more of their work on their website here danhainessigns.co.uk and on Instagram here @danhainessigns.
