Minoli has many long-standing relationships with firms, individuals and establishments that provide the invaluable products and services we need to run our business, and one such association is our ongoing partnership with Home House.
For more than a decade, Home House private members’ club, on Portman Square, W1, has been the venue for many Minoli Events, hospitality functions and client meetings, and the Home House team have become the catering provider of choice for client receptions at Minoli London on George Street, Marylebone.
Home House is considered London’s most magnificent private members’ club, fusing 18th century splendour with 21st century style. Established in the late 1700s, this decadent residence was designed by George III’s architect, James Wyatt, who was commissioned to build a sophisticated palace purely for enjoyment and entertainment.
Today, Home House hosts a community of eccentric characters and individuals spread across three exquisite Georgian townhouses, offering an exceptional range of facilities including restaurants, bars, a boutique gym and health spa, elegant bedrooms, opulent private dining rooms, a beautiful courtyard garden and an unrivalled members’ events calendar. Home House is an inspiring space where people can connect, relax and be their best selves, with the aim to build communities and inspire individuality.
The events Minoli organises in partnership with Home House have become eagerly attended by our clients and associates working in interior design, architecture, housebuilding, property development, automotive manufacturing and retail. From planning meetings, food and beverage selection, pre-event liaison, on-the-day arrangements and event management, the club’s team have always had such a professional manner and appreciation of the finer details that matter so much.
The format the annual Minoli Preview and Christmas Event has become well-practiced now, with the inaugural Home House Preview Event having been held in 2011, but that hasn’t dampened the appetite to continually refine and enhance the standards of catering, entertainment, facilities and attentive levels of service provided.
The Minoli team are always made welcome on the morning of the events and given the space to set up our displays of the latest porcelain tile ranges for launch the following year. At all these annual events, we have had exclusive use of No 21 Portman Square which can be booked as a private event space.
As guests start to arrive, they are welcomed by uniformed door staff, offered refreshments and throughout the evening, delicious trays of canapes are presented, all prepared under the watchful eye of the resident Head Chef and his ‘brigade’, including treats such as mini lobster brioche rolls, smoked aubergine caviar and chicken satay skewers.
With well over 250 guests, as well as a full contingent of the Minoli team in attendance, there’s always a busy and bustling atmosphere on each floor of No 21 and the Home House team never fail to keep the attendees topped up with drinks and light bites.
When Minoli host other special events at Minoli London – The Surface Within, the same level of attention to detail can be exercised by the Home House team at Minoli’s premises, with canapes and cocktails being freshly prepared on site. At the recent celebrations for the tenth anniversary of The Surface Within, a new feature was a gin bar in the downstairs studio serving Home House’s own brand gin, specially distilled in partnership with award winning luxury Gin distillery Oro, based in Lockerbie, Scotland, to create a unique spirit that captures the extraordinary heritage and epicurean essence of the Club.
Having also hosted a number of supplier and client luncheons within the dining rooms and beautifully appointed salons of the club, we’re always very impressed with the outstanding levels of service provided and frequently get great feedback from our appreciative guests as well.
We’re also delighted that porcelain tiles from Minoli’s collections feature in a number of the more recently refurnished guest areas of Home House including the Terrace Suite, several of the luxurious ensuite bathrooms, guest restrooms and in the changing facilities of the club’s private gym.
