Hayfield build inspiring and extraordinary residences, using often unique and different materials as well as fittings to create properties that look and feel original and are full of personality. It’s what they refer to as ‘The Hayfield Difference’.
Hayfield are one of Minoli’s long standing clients and we’re delighted to have supplied both indoor tiles and outdoor porcelain pavers for their charming new development in the village of Little Kimble in Buckinghamshire.
A curation of 40 two-, three- and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, Hayfield Crescent has been designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings and offer a range of brand-new homes with Hayfield’s unrivalled signature specification, as standard.
Within the development, there are seven exquisite house designs, each a mark of commitment to the fine detail, eco credentials, luxurious specification and quality of workmanship for which Hayfield are renowned and, in this article, we feature an example of the stunning five-bedroom Hanwell design.
In the elegantly appointed kitchen, the heart of the home, the Minoli Storm Series in the White colourway blends beautifully with the pale dove grey units, wall cabinets and soft furnishings. These high-performance porcelain floor tiles, in a 90/90 size with precision rectified edges, have an almost cloud-like composition in their softly shaded surface.
Looking through to the private garden, for this particular property, Hayfield have installed exterior use porcelain pavers from the Outdoor By Minoli Collection to create a more seamless transition from indoors to outside. A concept that Minoli call ‘Connected Living’, in this home the Storm White inside is paired with the coordinating design of Flux Bone, as a grippy exterior counterpart in 60/60 dimensions and durable 20 mm thickness.
With a slip resistance rating of R11 and frost proof qualities, Hayfield have achieved a clever continuity of large format flooring through the bi-fold doors to the patio and outside kitchen and dining area, where the outdoor tiling is offered as an upgrade option to house buyers, depending on the stage of the development.
This is an exceptional example of what can be achieved with Outdoor porcelain paving as the surface solution of choice to enhance garden entertainment spaces. Featuring a soft seating zone, relaxed dining area and a high-tech grill, drinks fridge and kitchen workstation, under an all-weather, louvered canopy with atmospheric festoon lighting, Hayfield can install the exterior tiling as an optional upgrade, leaving the homebuyer to specify and commission the furniture, appliances, cooking equipment and accessories themselves.
Continuing this contemporary design theme through the downstairs accommodation, the Storm White 90/90 extends to the cloakroom, again partnered with Flux Bone in 30/60 to bring a sense of luxury and lightness to the smallest room, in which the traditional panelling and recessed shelving bring interest and individuality.
Moving upstairs, the generous family bathroom features the nuanced, natural stone effect of Minoli Cashmire White in a 60/60 format, with luscious layers of pale grey and the irregular markings of the original material. With crisp rectified edges for exact alignment, the expert installation extends to full height in the shower enclosure where the chrome fittings and edging compliment the tone of the tiles.
The principal ensuite has a delightful decadence with the marble-effect Energy Stone Superiore Statuario used to great effect, emulating pure Italian white marble with well-defined grey veining. This is a gorgeous and graceful space with twin basins, a modern, free-standing bath and fully tiled walk-in shower.
Lastly, whilst more compact but no less contemporary, a second guest ensuite is clad in Minoli’s Lagoona Sandshell, with precision patterning and subtle and seductive strata. The tone-on-tone colouring of these 60/60 tiles has discernible depth and mesmerising movement as light plays across their surface.
Our thanks go to the team at Hayfield for specifying porcelain tiles from Minoli’s Core Essentials Collection, which is purposefully aligned with the requirements of the development market, offering quality and creativity, without compromise.
