New Machinery Arrives at Minoli
Linde Diesel – H20
As part of our investment program for 2014 – 2015 , the new material handling equipment for the warehouse and logistic department has arrived at Minoli.
Having evaluated the requirements for material handling , given the increased volumes going through the Minoli logistics department, three new forklift trucks were ordered with our preferred material handling supplier Linde.
In order to maintain our commitment to transporting our goods in the most ecologically friendly way, not an easy target within the tile industry, we predominantly use containers to ship our material, reducing the “tile miles” of road transport per MT2 massively. As the through put has increased it was decided to add another “yard” fork lift truck to the fleet, this one a significant upgrade to deal with the increased levels of business.
For placing the stock, once off loaded on to our racking storage system, a new Reach Truck was ordered, again tailored to our specific needs and state of the art technology.
Finally, for the loading and unloading of our own delivery fleet, a more “standard” but still extremely competent a new counter balance fork lift was ordered, to complement the existing units and to assist in ensuring the Minoli fleet is loaded promptly each evening for the 7.00 AM departure to our clients, sites and showrooms.
With our policy of constantly reinvesting in the company, we are able to stay ahead in what is a very competitive market, ensuring we have the very best equipment to help the Minoli Team meet the requirements of our clients and exceed them!
