We were truly delighted to see the first of the new additions to our delivery fleet nearing completion at Wessex Vehicle Services, the Wiltshire based body builders have tailored trucks to Minoli’s exacting specifications for many years.
This milestone vehicle, purpose-built for Minoli, was the 500,000th truck to be produced by DAF – the renowned Lancashire-based manufacturer.
The first of four new trucks Minoli have on order with the DAF factory for delivery in 2022, which by year-end will bring the Minoli fleet up to 14 trucks, plus eight light commercial and support vehicles, giving a daily delivery capacity of well over 100,000KGs.
When handed over in its stunning silver paintwork, our new flagship of the fleet will go to Oxfordshire-based sign writer – Dan Haines Signs – to be adorned with its new livery.
Alongside the latest product imagery, the newly branded bodywork will include recognition of Minoli’s heritage with the DAF brand, that this is the 500,000 truck produced and that DAF have held sole-supplier status with Minoli for over 40 years.
These new trucks are of course the very latest technology and meet – if not exceed all of the environmental requirements for city delivery. We look forward to featuring the fully-finished fleet in due course.
