Collections inspired by quartzite fuse the varied veining of marble with the glistening graining of granite. The spectrum of colours and finishes available across these collections is remarkable and distinctive.
Spanning cool, calming creams and greys with soft and structured surfaces, through warmer tan and biscuit tones with fiery, ferrous flecks, to rugged reflections of raw rock with striations and crystalline inclusions.
RANGE OVERVIEW
Norde is inspired by natural quartzite stones that, through a varied mineral composition, feature colour change and movement as light plays across their structured surfaces. These are truly technically advanced porcelain tiles, with particular product strengths being the detailed graphics, varied shades, rich colours and the authentic interpretation of the original material.
With Matt / Natural and Grip / Textured finishes, and specific 20 mm formats for use outdoors, all variants are distinguished by a surface that feels lightly hammered to the touch, which is still very comfortable underfoot but reinforces the effect of traditional quarried stone.
COLOURS AND DESIGNS
This series includes four beautifully layered colourways that bring a delightful and discernible depth to interior and exterior installations:
- Magnesio – With a warm ivory base with flecks of gold and pale pewter patterning.
- Platino – A bright, light grey with flashes of silver and smoky streaks.
- Oro – Warm and sandy, with interesting inclusions of ochre and ash.
- Piombo – A darker grey palette, brushed with natural brown and charcoal markings.
SIZES AND FINISHES
The product logic for the Norde Series is straightforward as all sizes and finishes are available in all colourways.
In 9 mm thickness, with a Matt / Natural finish and R10 slip-resistance rating, all colours are available in 30/60, 60/60 and 60/120 dimensions.
Also in 9 mm thickness, the 30/60 is available with a structured Roccia surface with a slip-resistance rating of R12, and the 60/120 with a Textured / Grip surface and R11 slip-resistance rating, suitable for use in wet areas and some outdoor applications.
Lastly, durable 20 mm thick porcelain pavers are available specifically for use outdoors with the R11 slip-resistance rating, in all colours in 60/60, 80/80, 60/90 and 60/120 sizes.
MOSAIC TILES
To finish rooms and create feature areas, Norway is available in a Matt / Natural mosaic, in all colourways and a 9 mm thickness, suitable for use on walls or floors.
Mosaico – Supplied on 30/30 sheets for ease of installation, these are classic mid-size mosaics tiles with 36 square pieces per sheet.
