A brief glimps of the torch as it passes through Watlington Road, close to Minoli.
Last night the Olympic Torch Relay passed by Minoli after having visited the BMW Mini Factory, our immediate neighbours.
BMW are a major sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics and the Olympic torch spent quite some time on site and featured in a special display which received tremendous coverage on national and local news outlets.
The procession left BMW Mini and passed by Minoli at around 5.30 PM last night, with the Torch Bearer being flanked by Police Motorcycle Outriders and followed by a fleet of support vehicles, including of course the very latest Mini vehicles.
Later in the evening a massive party was held to celebrate the arrival of the Torch in South Parks, one of Oxford’s most beautiful Public spaces in Headington, where over 20,000 people were entertained for the evening.

Those visiting the BMW Mini plant will be greeted at the main gate and shown in to the visitor Centre reception, which is fully fitted out with Minoli 600 x 600 polished porcelain, in jet black ( LX Nero )
Today the Olympic Torch will be visiting various historic sites in Oxford then moving on to Henley and into Berkshire.
Of course, this gave us just a little taste of the traffic chaos we can expect throughout , but as you would expect with the Minoli transport team we are looking at every single option to keep the deliveries flowing to our clients throughout the Olympics and then on through the Paralympics.
