Porcelain Tiles By Minoli Specified by K’Arte Design

K’Arte Design is a West London–based interior design studio and art consultancy, working internationally across a diverse portfolio of private residences and developments.

Minoli are delighted to be one of those suppliers, working closely with K’Arte Design founder, Katerina Tchevytchalova, to help realise some of her inspirational interior designs.

One such project is at a substantial house in South West London, through which K’Arte Design demonstrated the distinctive balance of creativity and precision that they bring to every project, with premium porcelain tiles by Minoli featuring throughout much of the property.

Delivering an almost seamless surface across the ground floor, through the kitchen, dining, living area and hallway, the subtly layered tones of Boost Balance, in the matt, Cream colourway, have been expertly laid to bring cohesion and continuity.

Complementing the natural wood and ivory kitchen units, the dining suite, sofas and soft furnishings, and contrasting with the darker windows, door frames and banister, there’s a soft sheen to the tile surface. In their generous 120/120 format, with crisp, rectified edges to minimise the appearance of grout lines, the impression is modern and minimalist, but with a welcoming warmth.

Looking to the garden through the glazed, triple aspect dining space, the patio has been paved with Boost Balance Ash in a 20 mm thickness outdoor specification, with a textured finish and R11 slip resistance rating. Also in an aligned 120/120 size, this creates a remarkably consistent transition from indoors to outside through the expansive glass doors and picture windows.

From the hallway, the downstairs ‘powder room’ features the beige and biscuit shades of Boost Natural in the Ash colourway. The soft brushstrokes in the surface patterning create an authentic finish, which is accentuated by the sizeable 60/120 dimensions of this fine Italian porcelain.

Boost Balance Ash has again been installed to the floor of the master ensuite and here paired with Marvel Diva White Everest with a pristinely polished finish. In an extra-large 120/240 slab format, the uninterrupted surface achieved behind the twin-basins creates a distinctly luxurious ambiance and the fiery, fissure-like veins in the design echo the rich, fluted, natural wood of the vanity unit.

Lastly, within a guest ensuite we find the walls clad in the Nordic inspired Valkiria Esir Décor tiles, in the Oak colourway with graceful graining and a slatted surface to bring a tactile texture.
