New Additions To The Outdoor By Minoli Collection

As the latest series added to the Outdoor By Minoli Collection aptly demonstrate, the wider variety of sizes and finishes available offer up new opportunities for architects, interior and garden designers, professional landscapers and developers.

We’re seeing Italian porcelain products used in different contexts and more inventive ways. For instance, exterior specification porcelain pavers with R11 slip-resistance ratings and 20 mm thickness now come in greater dimensions such as 60/120 and 120/120 sizes, so allowing continuity of large format flooring from interior areas, through bifold doors and picture windows, to exterior settings, including patios, paths and stairways.

What’s more, because all porcelain products are frost proof and resilient to extreme heat, the greater availability of different tile designs and extra-large format slabs also allows for wider applications, such as for exterior building and furniture cladding, swimming pool surrounds and linings, and for outdoor kitchens and entertaining spaces.

In commercial, public-facing settings, such as leisure centres, gyms and wellbeing facilities, and in hotels and hospitality venues, the inherent qualities of exterior use porcelain paving, such as their anti-slip finishes, durability, fade-resistance and hygienic, easy-clean surfaces, make them an ideal inclusion in design specifications.

Today we’re exploring two of the most recent Minoli ranges, that include premium porcelain paving products.

Nyra Series

Nyra is a stone-effect collection of tiles, slabs and pavers, designed to promote well-being through architecturally designed spaces. It is not an imitation of natural materials, but an original surface developed with a biophilic approach and design sensitivity.

Nyra offers a system of surface solutions in porcelain with which to realise the most imaginative and innovative designs and presents one of the most comprehensive offerings of outdoor porcelain paving, with four large format sizes, all with a 20 mm thickness and R11 slip-resistance ratings, across the four main colourways.

Nyra Star, Hay, Sunlight and Mist are all available to order in generous 60/60, 80/80, 60/120 and 120/120 dimensions, from our production partners with very reasonable lead times. Nyra Ambrosia can also be ordered as a 20 mm outdoor paver in 80/80 and 60.120 sizes.

With precisely rectified edges, highly technical installations can be achieved and coordinating indoor specification Nyra tiles include 30/60, 60/60, 75/150, 80/80, 60/120 and 120/120 sizes, as well as 120/1240/ 120/278 and 160/320 slabs, with Matt surfaces, and some available with Grip or Hammered finishes.

Marvel T

Marvel T is the result of an in-depth research study into the world-renowned travertine stoneware, offering a contemporary and textured interpretation that remains faithful to the elegance and visual impact of the natural material, but with the enduring and aesthetic qualities of premium porcelain.

Marvel T presents architects, specifiers, interior designers, property developers and homeowners with the most technically advanced surface solutions for walls and floors, inside and outdoors, with versions specifically developed for exterior paving and suitable for cladding.

In 60/120 dimensions, Marvel T is available in the Navona Sand, Halo Sand and Romano Sand designs in 20 mm thickness outdoor specification porcelain. The same designs and sizes are also available in 9 mm thickness with a Grip finish, which is suitable for use in some exterior settings.

As with the Nyra Series, Marvel T indoor tiles are also available in a wide variety of sizes including 30/60, 60/60, 75/150, 80/80, 60/120 and 120/120 sizes, as well as 120/1240/ 120/278 and 160/320 slabs, with Matt surfaces, or Hammered finishes for the largest slabs.
