An award-winning housebuilder, Shanly Homes was originally founded in 1969 by Michael Shanly, whose vision was to deliver high-quality new homes across the south-east.
This vision still drives the business today and they remain committed to developing high-specification, sustainable, architecturally innovative homes designed to complement the local environment and improve the quality of life for those who live there.
Minoli have been supplying luxury, Italian porcelain tiles for the beautiful homes they build for over a decade, as part of the excellent build quality and exquisite design that Shanly Homes incorporate into all their properties.
A recent example of this partnership is in their exclusive development of twelve boutique homes, ideally located in the traditional English village of Balcombe in West Sussex. Rectory Gardens is just a short walk from Balcombe railway station and offers the best of both worlds in a picturesque village with excellent transport links.
As featured in the show home for the development, in the downstairs cloakroom, picking up shades from the fabulous, floral wallpaper and complementing the modern, chrome fixtures, Marvel Calacatta Perla creates a sublime surface. With a matt finish, in fine Italian porcelain, there’s still a soft sheen to the surface which helps create a bright and fresh ambiance in this perfectly presented powder room.

Moving upstairs to the main family bathroom, Minoli Energy Stone Pietragrey porcelain tiles, in the White colourway, bring a sense of contemporary luxury with their precise, rectified edges. The soft white veining within the matt surface delivers dynamism and depth to the design and works so well with the crisp white sanitary ware and chrome fittings.

Lastly, in the master ensuite bathroom, the natural tones of Minoli Duolith in the Wool colourway reflect the trend for creating spa-like interiors in which to relax and refresh. With recessed low-level lighting and minimalist tap fittings, the subtle, soft and earthy stone-effects of Duolith deliver an almost seamless surface.

Our thanks to the team at Shanly Homes for specifying porcelain tiles from Minoli in these delightfully designed properties, and you can discover more about the Rectory Gardens development on their website, here.
