DK are experts in sourcing the rarest road and race cars ever to turn a wheel. They specialise in Ferrari but also deal in other exotic, high-performance automobile brands including Jaguar, Aston Martin, Porsche and even highly prized competition cars, some of which they restore and take to the track.
DK Engineering was founded by David and Kate Cottingham in 1977 and their son James, Lead Acquisition Consultant for the firm, has previously spoken at Minoli events at our London showroom on George Street in Marylebone.
Minoli have had the pleasure of supplying the Cottingham family with specialist tiles for their showrooms and customer facilities for many years and for a number of refurbishment and expansion projects.
The most recent such initiative at the DK showrooms in Chorleywood involved the complete refurbishment of the client reception area and administration department, together with a showroom extension and a total renovation of a barn on the support site close by, affectionally known as the Farm.
The newly constructed showroom extension and the barn refurbishment were tiled with a tile that DK have chosen previously to great effect, the Minoli Marvel series in Grey Stone colour, polished finish and 120/120 format.
The reception area and directly adjacent administration office are open plan and feature a glass wall display of the many trophies and awards won by DK over the past 45 years. The tile chosen by James and the team for this area was the Minoli Heartwood series, in Moka finish and 20/120 size format.
Recently showcasing some of the latest DK acquisitions, they very kindly shared some beautiful images of three particularly special performance cars, perfectly presented on Minoli’s pristinely polished porcelain tiles. The cars on show include:
