Wonderful Project Wednesday
High ceilings, exposed brick walls and large open spaces. This stable conversion in Oxfordshire, boasts spacious rooms with plenty of natural light. Traditional features such as arch doorways, red brick walls and high ceiling beams reminds the onlooker of the past life this building used to have. Thanks to new, modern features, including, floor to ceiling windows, high tech systems and of course Minoli tiles throughout, this former stable block has been transformed into a beautifully finished luxury home.
Minoli Italian porcelain tiles have been extensively
installed throughout the property, from modern concrete-looks to more
traditional wood effect porcelain tiles. A balanced style between old and new
brings the home into the 21st Century. While some areas remain in their
original form, allowing the character of the old stable to be captured and
preserved within this new conversion.
Starting with the main bathroom, which gleams in the very best of the Minoli range of Marble-effect tiles. Minoli Marvel Grey Stone Lappato was chosen for the free-standing shower wall and adjacent back wall. Providing a luxury element to match the brand-new mod-cons such as the waterfall shower and chrome fixtures. The elegant grey marble is enhanced by the shimmer of the chrome and full glass shower unit. The exposed red brick wall is complemented with an off-white floor tile. Finished off with a traditional white bathroom suite and accents of real wood on the vanity to incorporate the high ceiling wooden beams within the complete design of the room.
A similar style has been followed out in the shower room with Minoli wood effect tile, Minoli Etic Pallisandro. A sense of luxury is achieved with a spa-like aesthetic, using Minoli Etic Pallisandro wood look tiles for the walls of the walk-in shower.
Following out into the main living area of the property, Minoli Evolve Concrete tiles present the perfect transition from room to room. The subtle grey tone on a gentle concrete look surface presents the perfect backdrop. The grey floor tiles match the newly installed stainless-steel window frames and complement the vast size and space echoed in each room of this stunning property. The entertaining of the house has been fitted out with Minoli Etic Noce Strutturato, a grip textured wood look tile, which adds character and continues the traditional elements throughout the refurbishment.
Across to the wine cellar and storeroom to complete the project, Minoli’s workshop series, Graniti Gliati Serizzo Matt, provides safe and anti-slip surfaces.
