Natural stone is often seen as the most authentic solution for period buildings and traditional new builds, however in today’s house building marketplace, more savvy developers are turning to porcelain tiles as the viable and desirable contender.
The Everstone range from Minoli emphatically demonstrates the incremental benefits of porcelain. On a practical note, over natural stone, porcelain tiles are stronger and more durable, less prone to corrosion or staining, generally more slip and water penetration resistant, do not require sealing or polishing and are ultimately more cost effective.
In terms of aesthetics, being man made, porcelain tiles convincingly emulate the beauty of natural stone but come in a wider range of colours, a variety of larger sizes, are more consistent in tone and texture and, as such, less likely to show wear and tear.
Everstone emulates the popular “Durastone” finish, a look which has become very much in vogue with its alluring, organic surface effect. It’s available in two sizes; 30 x 60cm and 60 x 60cm and, together with a co-ordinating porcelain mosaic, it’s suitable for use on floors and walls, throughout kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces and beyond.
It’s also available in two subtle tones: Everstone – Ever Beige, a light limestone effect, and Everstone – Ever Grau, a light grey stone effect. For consistency, the porcelain mosaic is produced from the base tile and is available in both the Beige and Grau colours.
