The new Evolution Marvel Series from Minoli is aptly named as you will simply marvel at the sheer beauty and diversity of this exciting range of floor, wall and mosaic tiles that perfectly emulate the luxurious finish of Italian marble.

Traditionally, marble is associated with the grandeur of stately homes and exclusive developments, where a statement of luxury and opulence is desired. However, in today’s house building marketplace, more savvy premium developers are turning to porcelain tiles as a viable contender in terms of both price and finish.

The Evolution Marvel series from Minoli emphatically demonstrates the incremental benefits of porcelain and, since the initial preview launch in November 2012 (at the Home House Interno – Esterno event), Marvel has already been specified in a number of high-end private and commercial developments.

On a practical note, over natural marble, porcelain tiles are considered stronger and more durable, less prone to corrosion or staining, generally more slip and water penetration resistant, do not require sealing or polishing and are there for ultimately more cost effective.

In terms of aesthetics, being man made, porcelain tiles convincingly emulate the beauty of organic stone but come in a wider range of colours, a variety of larger sizes, are more consistent in tone and texture and, as such, less likely to show wear and tear.

Evolution Marvel is available in four gorgeous new colours; Moon Onyx – a shimmering silver-grey with subtle, pale veining, Calacatta Extra – akin to natural, radiant, white marble with more pronounced mid-grey veining, Grey Stone – with a deep slate-like tone and lustre, and Bronze Luxury – a rich and warm, glowing metallic.

Each colour is available in a choice of contemporary sizes and finishes including 75 x 75 cm, 60 x 60 cm, 45 x 90 cm and 30 x 60 cm – all in a matt finish or the Lappato finish – which is semi polished with the natural texture of organic stone. Three different 30 x 30 cm mosaic tiles are also available in matt, Lappato and stunning new 3D relief – specifically designed to create eye-catching wall features.
