Designers, architects and developers have recently brought about a renaissance in stone effect surfaces, seeking to fuse contemporary design with more classic environments.
Natural stone can often be seen as the most authentic solution for period buildings, traditional homes and new builds, however in today’s house building marketplace, more savvy developers and designers are turning to porcelain tiles as the viable and desirable contender.

Stone Studio Beauval Almond is available in a variety of sizes, 30 x 60, 60 x 60 and 50 x 100, in a Natural finish and the generous 50 x 100 format is also available in a Lappato polished finish. Together with both slimline ‘brick’ and traditional square mosaic, Stone Studio is ideal for development, domestic and commercial use.
The Stone-Studio range from Minoli emphatically demonstrates the incremental benefits of porcelain. On a practical note, over natural stone, porcelain tiles are stronger and more durable, less prone to corrosion or staining, more slip and water resistant in their natural form, do not require sealing or polishing after installation and are ultimately more cost effective.
In terms of aesthetics, being man made, porcelain tiles convincingly emulate the beauty of natural stone but come in a wider range of colours, a variety of larger sizes, are more consistent in tone and texture and, as such, less likely to show wear and tear.
