Venti – Blue Mix

Venti re-imagines the vintage charm of patterned tiles. Inspired by traditional floors of the 19th and 20th centuries, Venti takes its inspiration from the floors of period homes, palaces and grand buildings.

Traditional Encaustic tiles are characterised by their ability to decorate surfaces in the way that Moroccan rugs have done throughout history and engineered carpets do in more modern times. Venti reproduces a level of craftsmanship and historic tradition and presents this concept on an accessible collection of Italian porcelain tiles.

Venti Blue Mix porcelain tiles display tonal designs in powder blue shades with cream and light grey tones, which are detailed with ash grey shading to create splendid motifs for floor and walls.

With 20 varying design in tone-on-tone shades, Venti Blue Mix adds surface texture and depth to a modern and minimalist environment.

To a degree the series is inspired by the colours of Portuguese azulejos tiles painted in floral patterns of blue and white designs, as well as other traditional tile designs from 18^th and 19^th century Europe.
