Minoli have worked with Volvo for well over 10 years as supplier for showrooms and workshops throughout the UK.
The original dealership development program involved a 45/45 light stone effect porcelain tile from the Minoli Format Series and a porcelain “wood plank” from the DGA series.
A complete new dealership identity program was then introduced for the UK , which saw the specification of a 75/75 stone effect porcelain tile – C-Stone used in conjunction with another Minoli wood effect porcelain tile in the size 22.5/90 – ETV.
The program for the roll out of the new dealership brand identity has coincided with one of the most progressive product launches that Volvo has undertaken with many new and exciting models launched.
The program also involves the full fit out of the workshops, handover bay, client toilets and staff areas, all with Minoli workshop series porcelain/ ceramic tile.
As the programme roll-out gathers pace, Minoli are preparing to further increase stock levels and manage the logistics and distribution to the nationwide retail network, this involves holding very considerable stocks within the Minoli UK warehouses and ensuring production slots are made available in good time.
Volvo have a unique approach and position within the market place, the design of the showrooms reflects the philosophy.
Volvo Cars started producing automobiles in Sweden in 1927. Today, the company is truly global, with sales in about 100 countries.
The focus is always on innovation and world-leading safety technology. There is a history of game-changing achievements that positions Volvo Cars as one of the most respected and recognisable car brands in the world.
Award-winning Volvo cars continue to set new benchmarks in automotive safety and connectivity, and the company is committed to an industry-leading vision for an all-electric future.
“We started making cars in 1927 because we believed nobody else was making them strong enough or safe enough for Swedish roads. Along the way we’ve come up with dozens of innovations, some of which have changed the world. And it’s this commitment that drives us forward to the next great Volvo Cars idea.”
But above all – Volvo are a pleasure to work with… professional, courteous – everything you would expect of a company of this heritage.
