The Crescent – Yamaha Official World Superbike team head office and race team workshop has now been completed in Verwood Dorset.
The facility, designed by Paul Denning, team principal at Crescent Yamaha was completed in time for the new world superbike series, which started last weekend in Australia.
The facility, adjacent to the Crescent retail head office is purpose built for the needs of the race team, with race team workshop, mechanical workshop, engineering area, trailer / truck storage, executive office and boardroom – presentation suite.
Jonathon Minoli, managing director of Minoli visited the site this week and met with Paul Denning, receiving a full tour of the facility. “The workshop is a truly fascinating place, the technology within these race bikes is really something to behold. We at Minoli are truly delighted to have been able to work with Paul and his team to help create this amazing space”
Paul Denning, team Principal for Crescent commented “we have worked with Minoli on all of our other projects both for the race team and for the retail division, where we are franchise dealers for all of the major manufacturers. When it came to this flagship race team facility I involved Jonathon and the team at a very early stage and as you will see from the photography , the results are fabulous. We have had an excellent start to the season and I would have thought that having this facility available to the team must be a significant factor in the race teams success.”
The Minoli workshop series 200 x 200 x 12mm was selected for the race team areas, with the Minoli Marvel series selected for the office and board room. Minoli Nero Marquina 300 x 600 lappato was used extensively to co-ordinate with the corporate identity of Crescent and Yamaha, as well as the sponsors of the team Pata and Rizla… the application of the graphics meant that the flooring needed to be “stunning” yet subtle and tasteful so as to ensure the quality and technical ability of the company was shown, but not to deter attention from the product associated with the race team.
