Minoli may have several different departments, but we all work as ‘One Team’ to meet the individual needs of our varied clients. We’re not a huge organisation, but we understand the importance of good internal communications and a common can-do approach to providing a seamless overall solution to the challenges our customers face.

Throughout Minoli, from the back office and warehouse, to delivery drivers and showroom staff, client managers and the senior team, there’s a strong customer-centred culture that we all contribute to and uphold. Borne out in the attentive service we provide, client relationships that span decades, the dedicated customer facilities at our premises, the professionalism of our colleagues and an inherent instinct to go the extra mile, the mutual success of our clients and our business is always front of mind.

We’re always looking to improve the way we work, for the benefit of both our clients and our own business. As such, we take time to listen to our customers and staff, actively encouraging suggestions and pursuing the ideas that help make us more efficient and effective.

Senior Management Team

Minoli remains an independent, family-run business with Jonathon Minoli leading the company as Managing Director.

The Senior Management Team comprises those heading-up key departments, working together towards the common goals of providing product, service and logistics excellence, as well as running a solid and successful business.

Several of the senior team have been in their roles for many years or indeed joined the company in a different position and have taken on more responsibility over time.

With over 40 colleagues across our Oxford and London operations, the length of tenure and low staff turnover is testament to the inclusive culture and strong ‘one team’ ethic that thrives throughout the business.

Financial Team

Apart from keeping a tight rein on the financial solidity and stability of the business, the Finance Team are key in making sure Minoli are easy to do business with.

For both our suppliers and customers, we believe that open, straightforward and clear communications are the foundations of good business relationships and that consistent and collaborative ways of working are key to building trust and mutual benefit.

Whilst they may seem like basic good practice, activities such as regular reporting, prompt payment, accurate statements and attentive service all go a long way in ensuring our clients and partners enjoy dealing with Minoli, day-to-day and in the longer term.

Design and Marketing

The Design and Marketing Team are guardians of the Minoli brand, creatively expressing and clearly communicating our product and service offerings.

Through our website, social media, brochureware, showroom point-of sale, event materials, vehicle livery and corporate communications, our goal is to encourage more clients and partners to engage with Minoli and explore what we have to offer.

Whilst some of our face-to-face marketing activities had to be curtailed through 2020 / ’21, the Design and Marketing Team have kept a steady drumbeat to our communications online and look forward restarting our annual events programme, when safe and appropriate to do so.

The Design and Marketing Team also work closely with supporting external agencies who provide the retail design, communications, PR, web design, print and photography services that keep us looking fresh and professional, year after year.

Corporate Clients Team

The dedicated Minoli Corporate Clients team thrive on the challenge of adding value to every individual assignment, working closely with our key clients in house building, property development, automotive, retail and hospitality.

Approaching each of our corporate clients’ projects as if they were our own, our quest is to find the perfect balance of quality, cost and creativity, so the end result is both viable and desirable.

Of course we have a passion for fresh and inspirational design but, combined with a proven commercial sensibility, you can be sure that what we put forward will work in the real world.

We believe our role is to deliver specification and design solutions that exceed expectations for each and every one of your projects. We have years of combined experience within our team, but it is our personal enthusiasm and dedication that makes the real difference.

Wholesale and Distribution Team

Minoli has one of the most experienced teams working within the distribution market, experience which enables us to offer the reseller/retailer marketplace a service which is considered second to none.

Quite simply, as one of the UK’s original tile distributors, we get to know what works best for each of our resellers and then work in partnership with them to build up the business.

Forging long-lasting relationships, our wholesale partners have direct contact with our dedicated team so they can get the advice, support services and supply to succeed in their local markets.

Sales Office Administration Team

The Sales Office Administration Team efficiently and effectively take care of all the important activities that keep our business running smoothly – order processing, stock management, account administration, invoicing and reporting, amongst many other important duties.

Some of what they do may not be as visible as our products, delivery trucks and promotions, but in some respects they’re more important.

Our relationships with customers and suppliers rely upon the accuracy of orders and shipping consignments, the collection and transfer of payments, stock control and delivery schedules, and much, much more, and it’s here that the office team excel.

Merchandising Team

The Minoli Merchandising Team provide a valuable service to both our customers and distribution partners.

For our corporate and private residential customers, the Merchandising Team diligently prepare and keep stocked our extensive sample libraries.

They also help create fresh and exciting room settings and displays throughout our Oxford and London showrooms, using the bespoke point-of-sale units and Culla display stands.

For our distribution and wholesale partners, depending on the nature of their business with Minoli, more of our reseller partners are choosing to subscribe to the Minoli ‘Marketing System’. Akin to a joint venture, alongside ‘buying into’ additional print runs of our brochureware, our Merchandising Team can advise on and supply branded or neutral showroom display materials to help best present Minoli products in reseller retail environments.

The Merchandising Team also create bespoke materials to help us present and launch new ranges at our client launch events.

Warehouse and Transport Team

As one of the original tile importers and distributors in the UK market, our Warehouse and Transport Team are the backbone of our ability to reliably deliver to our customers on a daily basis.

Our warehouse facilities are specifically designed for the storage of ceramic, porcelain and mosaic tiles, to accommodate a vast number of ranges in very large quantities. The warehouse is laid out over an impressive 32,000 square feet containing close to £3 million in net cost value stock.

All stock management is computer controlled, making picking more efficient and helping us forecast for future ordering. The specially designed high-level racking makes for quick and simple access by our fully trained warehouse team.

Our business model is based on holding our extensive, carefully selected ranges in plentiful stock, which enables us to turn around orders promptly and provide a delivery service, that is generally considered second to none.

In our purpose-built fleet of trucks and vans, our Minoli-employed, fully trained and uniformed drivers can be seen across southern England, reliably delivering to our corporate, professional and private residential customers.

Oxford Showroom Team

The main Minoli showroom was first opened in the autumn of 1996, a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that has won wide acclaim from the industry for its unique approach to tile display.

Since then, we’ve expanded to further develop our first floor Corporate Clients Showroom and open an Outlet Store in a newly acquired building on the site of our Oxford headquarters.

All our showroom staff are fully trained and experienced, able to offer expert advice and to help our clients make the right choices, whether for a home, a commercial project or something more unusual.

With a total product portfolio of close to 500 ranges comprising some 3,000 individual product lines, our Showroom Teams have the expertise and product knowledge to guide customers through reviewing, selecting and ordering the right tiles for their commercial or residential needs.

London Showroom Team

First opened in 2013, our London Showroom was a logical extension to our existing Oxford-based operation. With display areas, meeting spaces and a resource centre for corporate clients, our West End premises means we can offer the same excellent levels of customer service in the very heart of London as well.

The Showroom Team in London provide consultations and advisory services to developers, architects, interior designers and specifiers operating in and around the capital, and support private residential customers in making choices for their home improvement projects.

They also make contact and field enquiries from new customers who we hope will come to value Minoli’s products and services in years to come.
