One of our most frequently specified, wood-effect ranges in porcelain, the Jurupa Series has authentic timber tones and the natural knots and gorgeous graining you would find in planed wooden planks.
RANGE OVERVIEW
The Jurupa Series faithfully reproduces the organic irregularities of real wood with extraordinary detail, but with all the technical advantages of a high-performance, rectified porcelain product. Over natural wood, porcelain tiles have practical advantages in that they will not shrink, split or splinter, warp or show wear, and they are ultimately easier to clean and maintain.
Suitable for use in almost any area of the home, Jurupa features both Matt and Grip surfaces. Being highly resistant to temperature changes, porcelain is an excellent conductor of underfloor heating, so providing a superior surface solution for open plan kitchens, living spaces, hallways or even bedrooms. Also, being almost impervious to moisture, with an anti-slip rating of R11, the Grip surface is particularly well suited for use in bathrooms, ensuites, utility and cloakrooms.
COLOURS AND DESIGNS
The five colourways in the Jurupa Series range from pale and cool greys, through to warmer brown and walnut-tones.
- Jurupa Basic – A pale grey but with notes of mushroom and mink, suitable for use on walls or floors, this design brings a lovely lightness into interior and architectural designs.
- Jurupa Cool – With shades of mid-grey and hints of pale taupe, the Cool colourway is contemporary and can complement many other creative components in a design direction.
- Jurupa Master – Warm and welcoming, Jurupa Master mixes beige and biscuit with enough contrast to create definition in the graining-effect of this tempting, textured tile.
- Jurupa Camp– The Camp colourway has a radiant warmth to create a richer light mahogany finish. The grain-effect is enhanced by paler markings that give the surface a slightly weathered look.
- Jurupa Wild – With darker shades of oak, Jurupa Wild brings an air of tasteful tradition into designs, creating a classic, hardwood effect with its mature and majestic appearance.
SIZES AND FINISHES
The Jurupa Series includes traditional timber-effect plank tiles and extra-long formats, with Matt and Grip finishes according to size, the latter for use in wet areas and some outdoor applications.
The product logic for Jurupa is straightforward in that all colourways are available in each of the sizes and finishes.
In more traditional wooden floor formats, but also equally suited for wall applications, in 9 mm thickness, all colours are available to order in 20/120 and more expansive 30/240 sizes with a Matt / Natural finish. In both the slender and more substantial size, Jurupa seemingly extends a space with its lean and linear appearance.
Again in 9 mm and available in all colours is a 20/120 tile with a Grip finish and enhanced R11 slip-resistance rating, which is just softly structured to have the texture of timber underfoot with a safe and splinter-free surface.
