Last Thursday evening, 5th December, Minoli welcomed some 250 clients, partners, suppliers and friends to celebrate Christmas and to preview the stunning new Italian porcelain tile collection for launch in 2025. Our thanks to all who joined us for what must be one of the best attended occasions in the history of Minoli Preview parties.
This year the star of the show was the new Minoli Marvel DIVA Series, an iconic collection of beautiful, fine Italian porcelain tiles and expansive large format slabs, with coordinating décor pieces.
This exciting series incorporates ten distinctly different yet complementary surface designs, the inspiration for which are some of the most precious and rare marbles. This collection, within the broader Marvel product portfolio, features vivid and deep colours with which to complete the most contemporary and creative interior installations.
Available in generously sized tiles and extra-large slabs, with precisely rectified edges, the intensely defined patterns and veining come to life at grand scale, delivering near-seamless, uninterrupted surfaces.
As usual, we again enjoyed exclusive use of the Home House – ‘House 21’ at No. 21 Portman Square and in the opulently appointed Octagon Room, there were new large-format display boards featuring all the designs, colours and finishes of DIVA including Ice Crystal, Taj Mahal, White Everest, Amethyst, Precious Brown, Black Tempest, Baobab, Galaxy, Aqua and Sky Stone.
We were also excited to see Marvel DIVA fully installed, just last week, in the Ladies ‘powder room’ and Gents facilities at House 21, with the Taj Mahal design to the floors and full-height slabs of Galaxy and Baobab to the walls of those respective rooms.
The entertainment for the evening featured all our regular acts including the carol singers from St George’s Church, Hanover Square, cabaret duo Verity & Violet who helped get the event into full seasonal swing and the high-energy four-piece band The Anthemics, who filled the floor with a range of rousing rock and pop covers. DJ Carlone was also on the decks to keep the party going until the early hours.
The team from Home House excelled as always in providing a flawless hospitality experience for our guests, with delicious canapes including Lobster Brioche Rolls, Sesame Prawn Toast, Black Truffle Arancini and Gloucester Old Spot Pork Belly with crackling, amongst other tempting treats.
One of the refreshments on offer was Home House’s own brand gin, specially distilled in partnership with award winning luxury Gin distillery Oro, based in Lockerbie, Scotland, to create a unique spirit that captures the extraordinary heritage and epicurean essence of the Club.
Guests also enjoyed a selection of wines and prosecco from the Santomè vineyards near Treviso in northern Italy including Bosco Coste Valdobbiadene Prosecco and the fresh and delicate Santomè Anna 6 white wine. They also left with delicious classic Italian Panettone by Pasticceria Fraccaro, all supplied by our friends at Italian Continental Stores. In addition, attendees took away copies of the new 2025 Preview Brochure featuring images and detailed specifications of all the new DIVA Series.
The evening was a great success, providing the assembled house builders, developers, architects, interior designers, retailers and automotive clients with a festive insight to Minoli’s exciting new porcelain products for the year ahead.
