Today we’re sharing Minoli’s Curated Collections for Interior Design Inspiration, for London Design Festival 2023.
We have selected a stunning selection of stand-out, principally porcelain ranges that are frequently specified by our professional design practice clients, as showcased in this article.
Advancements in tile manufacturing techniques have seen the emergence of extended lines of extra-large format slabs that allow uninterrupted floor to ceiling coverage, a wider availability of different finishes including polished, matt, brushed, textured, structured and hammered, higher definition graphics and new techniques in transparent layering that produce designs with extraordinary depth and movement.
Read on as we explore some of the most transcendent and technically advanced tile collections including those that emulate the splendour of natural stoneware and magnificent marble, the urban chic of concrete, the wonder of wood and those that make their own style statements with original, contemporary designs.
Wanderlust
A collection of technically advanced, large format slabs and tiles, the precise patterning of which includes gemstone-like agates, mesmerising marbles and the streaks and striations of glistening granite.
Norway
The pleasing and playful, pebble-effect and is inspired by ornamental stones found around the lakes of Europe and the variety of shape and shading brings interest and individuality to any environment.
Marvel
The most extensive and exquisite series of marble, quartzite and stone-effect porcelain tiles, the continuous advancement of the Marvel series keeps it at the cutting edge of the industry’s technological capabilities.
Essenza Oudh
Wonderful wood-effect tiles, in various lengths and large format slabs, with the gorgeous graining and gnarly knots of their organic origins, but with all the technical advantages of a high-performance porcelain product.
Luminous Lume
A realistically retro, subway brick-effect porcelain tile, its striking 6/24 letterbox format and purposefully irregular patterning has caught the imagination, emulating the individuality of genuine majolica tiles.
Boost
A technically advanced, porcelain, stoneware series comprising concrete, natural and stone effect finishes, in coordinating colourways to create innovative, elegant and industrial environments.
Clay
With soft, subtle surface reliefs and a superfine composition, the overlaid, tone-on-tone colour combinations create discernible depth and movement within the designs and provide a perfect creative canvas.
Cosmopolitan
From sublimely subtle to delightfully dazzling, this mesmerising collection of contemporary marble-effect porcelain tiles, slabs, mosaics and decor pieces replicates its quarried counterparts with such authenticity.
3D Wall Carve
The tactile carvings in these collections lend themselves to evocative light effects, creating interior designs that are simple yet with a strong visual impact, uplifting and not overpowering the architectural aesthetic.
Prism
Taking concrete-effect tiling to new levels of creativity with seven different shades ranging from the powdered pink of Bloom, through pale creams, beiges and greys to the leaden look of Graphite.
De Segni
With the pronounced patterns of traditional encaustic tiles, these vintage and evocative 20/20 pieces feature a precision, block-print design to create a striking symmetrical statement or a more irregular arrangement.
Jurupa
One of our most frequently specified, wood-effect ranges in porcelain, the Jurupa Series has authentic timber tones and the natural knots and gorgeous graining you would find in planed wooden planks.
Storm
Storm creates a calming, contemporary canvas with a subtle, stone-look surface, in precision rectified porcelain, with a soft, super-fine finish.
Norde
Inspired by natural quartzite stones that, through a varied mineral composition, feature colour change and movement as light plays across their structured surfaces.
