Lucy Developments design and build homes to the highest standards. They take great care in selecting the best sites and working closely with trusted designers and craftspeople to create individual homes that will stand the test of time.
As part of Lucy Group, a family-owned business based in Oxford for over 200 years, Lucy Developments are a local company committed to building sustainable homes and supporting local communities. Their home buyer service ensures the customer experience before, during and after moving into your home is seamless.
Also based in Oxford, and celebrating our 65th anniversary of incorporation this year, Minoli have supplied Lucy Developments with porcelain tiles for what must be over twenty years and are delighted to have such a longstanding relationship with this regional builder of beautiful homes.
The Thatcher’s Ford development, in the idyllic South-Oxfordshire village of Drayton St. Leonard, is a remarkable example of how Lucy Developments use high quality traditional materials and embrace innovative design and technologies. The site comprises five meticulously crafted modern homes that harmoniously merge traditional village aesthetics with striking contemporary elegance.
In the property shown here, throughout the expansive kitchen, dining, living area and hallway, Minoli Codec Ecru, in fine Italian porcelain and 60/60 dimensions, has been expertly laid with precise rectified edges to create a flawless and continuous floor. The hybrid concrete and stone appearance of this design has soft, multi-toned layers of taupe that work so well with the dark finish of the bespoke kitchen units and bright, white worktops.

Moving upstairs to the perfectly appointed master ensuite, the sublimely smooth and subtle stone tones of Storm Cream create a luxurious and light environment. The pale but warm background of this colourway is overlaid with delicate, white veining to bring depth and movement to the floor and walls, in 60/60 and 30/60 sizes respectively. This is a simply stunning space with a modern, free-standing bathtub, a generous walk-in shower enclosure and gleaming chrome fixtures.

Lastly, in a further shower room, the 6/24 letter-box format of Luminous Lume in the Turquoise colourway has been installed vertically to create a standout feature wall for the shower surround, with its bright, high-gloss, glazed surface.

Our thanks to all the team at Lucy Developments for specifying porcelain tiles from Minoli in so many of their properties and you can see more of the exclusive homes at Thatcher’s Ford on their website, here, and on their Instagram, @lucydevelopments
